I have only just now found thisd web site so am most likely too late to have any of my commens be worth while...However...here goes ANYWAY!

I cannot in any way...shape...or form understand why on earth PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN did not win ant oscars...I did not see Lord of the Rings...was not nor am not interested in Lord of the Rings...But was so impressed with the Pirates of The Caribbean that I saw the Movie twice and the DVD so many times since obtaining it that I wore it out and had to buy another...No pirate movie since Disney's Treasure Island has had a "BAD" man so fearsome nor Bad as Long John Silver until Goefrey Rush as the "Miss Crete" Capt. Barbossa.....The Facial expressions and the inuendoes made the characters as much as the locations, ships, and action made the movie...It is a real shame Capt Barbossa did not get to eat AT LEAST one apple before he died.....This is one viewer who will truely miss him in any sequel...(Remember the PEARL was given at least one day"s head start....a PERFECT opening for a sequel).....IF Lord of the Rings can have three (3) sequels and Lion King can have one (1) sequel, then Pirates Of The Caribbean Most CERTAINLY rates two (2). Believe me...I am Most ANXIOUS to see someone attempt to catch a NIGH UNCATCHABLE ship such as the PEARL after a day's head start...
OBVIOUSLY...with the EXACT same actors playing the same parts...
PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN...CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL is a
NIGH UNBEATABLE MOVIE...

I liked POTC. They are making two sequels and there are rumors that Barbossa may be in one or both of them. As a zombie maybe?

If I have this correct now.....FANTAXTIC...I cannot wait for them to come out...Particularly if Capt. Barbossa is somehow re encarnated or even Zombified...(new word...of my own originallity).

I'm thinking Barbossa will come back as a ghost (if they were quasi-undead in the first movie, they can be ghosts too!). And he'll round up a whole bunch of ghost pirates and try and take revenge on Jack Sparrow, and with a whole fleet of ghost pirates, try and take over the world! But of course, they're defeated by the ever-heroic Will Turner, who finds a magic amulet that captures ghosts. Then the third movie can be about a madman who steals the amulet in an effort to release the ghosts and become his own personal ghost army, but Sparrow, Turner, and everyone else stop him and trap him ni the amulet, which is thrown into the bottom of the sea. Then the fourth movie can be a contrived and ridiculous prequel about young Jack Sparrow and young Bootstrap Bill Turner, and their adventures on the Caribbean.

Long bit, mostly just weird stuff coming out of my head, feel free to ignore.

A Barbossa ghost. Why not?

I am not too sure about Will Turner having any special nor magical amuletts. however Capt Barbossa MUST be revived...Let's stay with the original Blackhearted Skullduggery of a pirate...Raiding, pillaging, and other ways stealing our Black hearts out...AND MAYBE an apple or two.
OF COURSE, TOO:...The Pearl must NEVER be caught either!!!
No Pirate I ever met had any Magical powers nor amulets...Let's keep to the CODE and the memories of: Capt. Bartholemew...Kidd...Morgan...
Jack Racham (Callico Jack)...Jack Sparrow....Long John Silver...et. al!!!

I SINCERELY HOPE SOMEONE AT DISNEY STUDIOS IS READING ALL THIS...AND...GETS THE MESSAGE....

LET'S HAVE ANOTHER GOOD QUALITY PIRATE MOVIE SOMEONE!!!

Aw, come on, bring on the magical amulets! They had cursed gold coins, why not a magical amulet?? Besides, I thought of them!

(I'm j/k'ing around, obviously no pirate would be caught dead wearing anything magical.)
