Michael Eisner certainly doesn't see them, but all e-mails and calls are logged.

When I called up to report that my Mickey Mouse in Living Color DVD had a defect, the first thing that they said to me was "You want Song of the South on DVD, don't you?" I said yes and asked how they knew and they told me it was when I went to their site and did the thing telling them that you would like this film on DVD. So, they do listen and register this stuff when you tell them. For anyone else who wants that movie on DVD, instead of just signing online petitions, go to the Disney site and let them know.

of course they log it... if they read it and respond with care and thought, then you'd be pretty lucky. They usually have pre-written messages which they just copy and paste and send! Gay move, but oh well!

Quick everyone - Email them for a House of Mouse season set release!

Seriously - I've emailed them once or twice (taking care to hide the fact that I'm not in America) and only got standard "form" mail replies - and they took about 4-5 days to arrive. The fact that it takes so long for a reply indicates to me that they are at least reading and filing the messages.

As to do the messages affect their policy? Who knows? If it did on important issues we should have a Song of the South DVD by now. But even if the feedback only influences up to 10% of their business decisions it's still worth doing.

It's better than Buena Vista UK who never replied to any of my Emails or my single snail mail letter I sent them.

Oh, and I wasn't joking about the House of Mouse request! :)

Well, an e-mail address wouldn't be so bad to give us now would it! ;)

Some, who are bored out of their minds, are also lazy! ;)

remember jabroni76 "House of Mouse", "Season Sets". Don't forget to mention Prince Adam is buying a DVD player soon, so they've no excuse not to release them. :)

And while you're at it, ask them when they're going to make "Pete - The Movie" :)

hows this?
To the Mister or Misses who is reading this at the moment. I am e-mailing you today, to ask if plans for Disney's House of Mouse season sets are in the works. Notice how I asked about season sets, not a set with five episodes. I believe this is a great marketing deal. Think about it -- kids love Disney animated classics, why not put a show with all Disney characters. And while you're at it, release it on DVD so all little kids, and older adults who are in love with Disney, can watch the episodes whenever they want, feely.

Also, I think that a Pete movie, or dvd would be very cool. He was one of the first characters, starring in the Alice Comedies. I think a dvd, presumably a Treasure set, with Pete episodes would be awsome.

And third, I am asking about the Oswald series. Is there any chance that the Disney company would release any of those on dvd sets? I'm talking about the original episodes, not the newer ones.

Thank you very much, best regards,

Sam
I'll be sure to say if I get any response.. yeah right

I would be honoured to be used as an excuse to release House of Mouse box sets!!!!! I've e-mailed them a few times about it and other, older TV shows, but they've seemed to ignore them. I just got an e-mail saying "Your opinions matter a great deal to us..." yada yada yada.

Thank you James! I didn't email them tho, I went to the Disney video webpage thing and voted. And you're right, since they are logging the requests for some reason, why not give them as many as possible!?

I forgot to mention that a Pete movie would be really cool! But would it have Pete vs. Mickey or Goofy? I really like that original Pete (the old Mickey shorts like Mr. Mouse Takes a Trip) but I also like the newer version of Pete, with son PJ, daughter Pistol, and wife Peg as seen in Goof Troop. Which Pete would it be?

I don't think that they would have time to create an individual response for every single person who contacts them. Plus, I didn't email them about Song of the South. I went to the Disney movies site where you can click a link to let them know you would like that particular movie on dvd. I though tthat it was cool though that when I called them, they already had my name on file and that information with it.
