Looks like this is our 5,000th topic if you look at the URL. Maybe Luke should give Loomis a prize, and another contest.
Anyways, really interested in the Superman and Batman ones.

That's great now I have to get Batman: The Animated Series Volume Two and Superman Animated Series: Volume One on the same day of the Walt Disney Treasures and Gargoyles release date.
Oh well maybe I'll delay Batman and Superman for January instead of December.
Why is Warner Brothers doing this some kind of battle against Disney?

Sniff
I'd just like to thank Luke, Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, Allah, all the members of UD.com and most of all Warner, who made this all possible.

My thoughts exactly. These announcements are absolutely awesome (especially Batman and Superman), but now I have to come up with a bunch of extra money! And on the same day as 24: Season Three. Stupid, wonderful Warner.

December 7th may turn out to be worse than you think. TheOneRing.net (
http://www.theonering.net/index.shtml) has a report from a Best Buy worker claiming the Lord of the Rings: Return of the King EE will be released on this day as well. This isn't official yet though.

No, as almost all other sources agree that December 14 is the date for ROTK: EE.
Still, pricey time of year! Luckily, I have a birthday and Xmas within 2 weeks of each other

Bad news....
Batman Vol. 2 and Superman Animated Series collections delayed
http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/content.php?contentid=12652
"The recently announced Batman and Superman animated collections from Warner Home Video have been pushed back into the new year, both now set to arrive on 25th January 2005."
Good news for me, as it means I won't have to spend that money now until AFTER Xmas. But it is a shame for everyone who thought of them as potential gifts.

Smart move Warner Brothers on moving the release date of Batman and Superman DVD Volumes I guess they didn't want to go up Disney and have a Crash of the Titans scene.
This is great news for me!!!

Well, I was probably just going to put these on my Christmas list anyways so an extra month is no big deal. I was kind of curious as to why WB seemed to have so many big releases coming out on December 7th, but I guess that's not so true anymore.

I don't know if they've stated a reason yet - it might just be a manufacturing problem and not by choice!
Either way, it is a blessing in disguise.
