Does anyone else think that Disney should release their reality series "Bug Juice" on DVD? "Bug Juice" has been a favorite among pre-teen and teenage Disney fans for years, especially since they recently started re-airing episodes over the summer break. There are a plethora of "Bug Juice" fans who would like to see this show make it to store shelves. Does anyone know where we could contact Disney to make this happen, and does anyone think that there's even a possibility that we could make this dream become reality? Disney/Buena Vista has released a lot of their television shows on DVD and home video, including "Lizzie McGuire" and "Boy Meets World" most recently. I don't see why they wouldn't release Bug Juice is the demand was high enough. Is anyone else with me?

Welcome to the forum. Taking a look at our new Disney TV Shows page, I think that "Bug Juice" is a bit of a long shot to come to DVD. I do hope it comes to DVD, as does any show with a following, but it just doesn't seem very likely, considering the number of more popular animated and live action Disney/Buena Vista series that are not on DVD at all, many of which received some VHS releases.

I think we'd have to see strong-selling season sets of "Kim Possible", "Even Stevens", and "That's So Raven" before Disney would consider releasing something like "Bug Juice" on DVD.

But then, all these shows are a potential profit for Disney. If they can make considerably more than they'd have to spend on a DVD release, then it's just one of many valuable commodities in Disney's television library to consider.

Whether it's a season set or simply the first chronological volume, a 4-disc boxset of "Lizzie McGuire" IS coming out on November 23:

I hated the show and avoided it every summer, but I think I remember that one bit. I think the girls got kicked out because they left the camp to visit the boys camp or something.

What was the show where kids trained for a circus? The circus was called Circus Smirkus or something. I don't think it was Bug Juice, though it may have just been a special season of it.

But still, I hated Bug Juice. It was like a kiddified Real World set at a camp, and the kids all seemed like brats to me.
