I always feel a big part of Disney's success is the catchy, emotional and classic songs that are in their movies, shorts and TV shows. So I was wondering what are your favourites?
Mine are...
Out There (The Hunchback Of Notre Dame)
In A World Of My Own (Alice In Wonderland)
Feed The Birds (Mary Poppins)
A Whole New World (Aladdin)
Part Of Your World (The Little Mermaid)
Once Upon A Dream (Sleeping Beauty)
I Wont Say (I'm In Love) (Hercules)
He's A Tramp (Lady And The Tramp)
Beauty And The Beast (Beauty And The Beast)
If I Never Knew You (Pocahontas)
Edit: 2099, I much perfer B&B to Poppins as well!

Like my other music preferences, I tend to go for the lyrics just as much as the tunes. Anyhow in semi-preference order:
Stories BatB: The Enchanted Christmas
Paige O'Hara's best performance. Excellent lyrics too.
Belle: Beauty and the Beast
I enjoy this just as much for the staging and the introduction/exposition as much as the tune. The most stage-like song in the most stage-like musical Disney's ever done.
Sieze The Day Newsies
Can't get this out of my head.
Eglantine / Don't Let Me Down / Reprise: Eglantine Bedknobs and Broomsticks
The single reason B&B is better than Mary Poppins (not really, there's lots of reasons)
Be Prepeared The Lion King
An unusual performance by Jeremy Irons, but it works 100%
I Just Can't Wait To Be King The Lion King
Full of the joys of youth. Ah, those were the days...
Colours Of The Wind Pocahontas
Good stage musical type song. Good lyrics
This Is Halloween Nightmare Before Christmas
Not 100% Disney. 100% great. Danny Elfman is underrated.
I'll Make A Man Out Of You Mulan
Simple and Catchy
Kick It Into Gear The Country Bears
I like Country. I like The Country Bears. Rock and Roll Country
Can Love Stand The Test? The Country Bears.
I like Country. I like The Country Bears. Old fashioned traditional Country.
A Star Is Born Hercules
How can you not be cheered up listerning to this energetic inspirational song?

This list may be kinda long, but oh well. Some of the songs are deleted ones, and other versions, are the demos [with different lyrics] found on the Music Behind the Magic 4 CD set.
*One Song, Some Day My Prince Will Come - 2 Classic, Great songs from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
*When you Wish Upon A Star, I've Got No Strings - Not that I hear these songs alot, or that Pinocchio is my favorite, but these do deserve reckognition as being good or fun, though I think WYWUAS is the better of the 2 and my real choice
*A Dream is A Wish Your Heart Makes, *Sing Sweet Nightengale, Cinderella (Theme song, not Cinderelly) - All Great songs from Cinderella
*He's a Tramp, *Bella Note - From the great Lady and the Tramp
I Wonder, *Once Upon a Dream - I just love the music of Sleeping Beauty
That's Waht Makes The World Go Round - From the underrated classicThe Sword in the Stone
From here on in I'm only doing my absolute favorites, otherwise it would take forever to list the classics that I remember and the songs that I liked...
Beauty and the Beast, Something There - All great songs
Every version and reprise of Part of Your World, Poor Unfortunate Souls - All great songs
Proud of Your Boy, Count on Me - (Deleted from Aladdin) All great songs
One Jump(Reprrise), A Whole New World, Arabian Nights - All great songs
*Out There, God Help My People
Go The Distance(The whole thing), Won't Say I'm Inlove
Colors of The Wind
Reflection, Be a Man - All great songs
Well that's all I fell like typing now...
*= Favored when with another one
Oh and here are my favorite NON-Disney ones
If We Hold On - The Land Before Time (Theme)
Somewhere Out There - An American Tail
Secret of NIMH - (Theme? It's the song Ms. Brisby sings to Timothy)

Just because it hasn't been mentioned yet, I'll add "Under the Sea."
Love all the songs from "The Lion King" (well, except for the stupid "Morning Report" number, but then that's not from "The Lion King" if you know what I mean), "Friend Like Me", "Go The Distance", all of Phil Collins' songs from Tarzan, the Many Adventures of Pooh songs, tons more. The ones I don't like are pretty few and far-between.

I love most Disney songs: the way they tell the story and capture your emotions...it's Disney magic at its best.
Here's a few of my favourites, and I know I'll have to add to the list later.
1. Home (B&tB on broadway: wish they'd added this instead of Human Again)
2. If I Can't Love Her (B&tB on broadway: or this!)
3. Candle on the Water (Pete's Dragon: just beautiful, that's all I have to say)
4. Feed the Birds (Mary Poppins: we all need to understand the message being told here)
5. Second Star to the Right (love both versions: both in the original Peter Pan, and the cover by Jonatha Brooke in Return to NeverLand)
6.I'll Try (Return to NeverLand: love this song)
7. Part of Your World (Little Mermaid: especially love the reprise with her on the rock and the wave crashing behind her)
8. Beauty and the Beast (so simple, yet there's just something about it)
9. Why Not? (Lizzie McGuire Movie: I know, I know-I'm read for any and all critizism, but I love this song)
10. Remember the Magic (WDW 25th Anniversary: isn't this what Disney is all about?)
There's my list!

Oh, and don't forget "You can Fly!" and "Your Mother" from Peter Pan.
There's just so many!

I honestly can't narrow it down. I own the five-disc set of "Classic Disney" CDs (which, btw, includes 3 songs from "Song of the South" including the opening song of the same title), which is really great. I do wish to give special recognition to "So This Is Love" from Cinderella. I think it's very beautiful with terrific vocal performances and that it was way ahead of its time. I also like "Sing Sweet, Nightengale" which I may have misspelled. I do think that as far as scores go, Alan Menken is king. All his movies have a great soundtrack (and great lyrics). I also like the score and vocal performances in Tarzan.

I don't know... Sure why not? In that case I would like to add the above 2.
Though it is a shame, my Beauty and the Beast soundtrack, does not include the vocals for the transformation.
Oh, and incase I haven't said it already, "Welcome Leonia!!!"

Well here are mine if anyone cares (I AM turning into Eyeore, aren't I?).
There aren't a lot, as I didn't always like Disney songs, but lately I've learned to love.
Part of Your World (Mermaid): Something about this gets me every time.
Everybody Wants to Be a Cat (Aristocrats) - Don't know why, just gets my top a-tappin' everytime...
A Whole New World (Aladdin) - HATED this back in high school, after it was butchered at some school concert gig thing. Learned to love years later when I was watching Aladdin again. Appeals to the romantic in me. And I'm a big softy.
Probably others, but can't think of them at the moment...
