Even with the auditions, there are 108 remaining live-action films that survived the auditions. Therefore, we'll be dividing the game into three rounds, each of which will be further divided into sub-rounds. Round 1 will concern movies made prior to 1990 (I had to make the slight change from the site's grouping, which breaks at 1980, to even out the two groupings). Round 2 will concern movies made from 1990 to the present day. The winners of the first two rounds will go head-to-head in Round 3. Got it? Good. :)

Live-action films have already been defined for us by Luke's pages for them here on the site. Films made prior to 1980, all of which are covered in Round 1, can be found here (complete list). The complete list of films made between 1980 and 1990, also covered in Round 1, can be found at the bottom of this list.

It works just like the Survivor TV show. Basically, come on here once every 2 days and vote for the live-action Disney film that you want to vote off, i.e., the one that you like the least. Everyone is welcome!!

At the end of the round, I'll come on here and announce which films got voted off, and a new thread will start for the next round. This gets to be a lot of fun, especially when it gets down to the wire (as you hopefully know from the last two games).

You can talk about your reasons for your vote, but I ask that you put the full title of what you're voting for in bold letters so that it's easy for me to count them all in a hurry.

There are more titles in Round 1 of this game than there were in all of the Animated Classics Survivor. Therefore, for Round 1, we'll follow this plan: Four movies will be cast off in each of the first 5 sub-rounds (the four with the most votes to leave). After that, two films will leave in each sub-round, until we reach the top 10. In all, that should make for 52 sub-rounds in round 1. Make sense? The winner of Round 1 will square off against the winner of Round 2 for the ultimate winner, which will join the reigning champs, The Lion King and Toy Story 2.

So, Survivors ready?? Come on in and vote off ONLY ONE of these 14 films:

Song of the South
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
The Shaggy Dog
Darby O'Gill and the Little People
Pollyanna
Swiss Family Robinson
The Parent Trap (1961)
Bedknobs and Broomsticks
The Strongest Man in the World
Escape to Witch Mountain
Freaky Friday
One Magic Christmas
Flight of the Navigator
Honey, I Shrunk the Kids

Voting ends at midnight (EASTERN TIME) on Wednesday, August 18th.

These rounds feel like they're getting faster, somehow!

Hmm, this is kind of tougher with no bad films left, and I've seen all but one, and that is one I have high expectations for.

I choose...Bedknobs and Broomsticks. But as it might be gone anyway, I may change it to have my vote count more!

Both of the films leaving last time were good ones, but they made it pretty far, to give them their due.

Luke, actually the last round was shorter by a few hours (it was posted Sunday morning instead of Saturday night), so maybe that's why. I sure hope you're wrong about your pick, though!

I'm a little surprised that The Strongest Man In The World is still around. I think that it and One Magic Christmas seem to be weaker than the others.

Time to let my alter ego who registered in the first week but never posted give it a vote.

I am in complete agreement with Aaron. There are two movies left significantly worse than the others. Time for them both to go and let the contenders fight it out.

which I dont believe has ever had a vote cast against it.

You know, I think I will start posting with this moniker now so I can get back to being a super genius

The Shaggy Dog to save Bedknobs

The alliance needs to communicate better, back to One Magic Christmas

I have been avoiding the previous rounds because I thought there were too much films and too hard to choose. But now I can finally come back to the game! My vote goes to...
