Mine, The Next Generation of course :D . My reasons, already stated in another thread. Unfortunately I've only been able to afford the 3rd season so far  . Actually, it was a gift, I haven't been able toi afford any  .

I chose Next Gen, because I've been watching the DVDs lately after a long absence, and am really enjoying it again.

Although, I REALLY like DS9 because I think the characters were the most interesting, and worked well together.

Voyager and Enterprise I have only seen a handful of episodes from so I can't comment, but both have merit. Hope to see them released on DVD evetnually too...

I voted for Babylon 5 because it was an incredible and gripping series that was always changing and surprising it's viewers.

LOL, oh you just want Star Trek series... I'd prob go with the Next Generation as well, but Enterprise is pretty good, this new season may be even better as it is sending the series into a new direction.

Rumour has it that is actually coming to DVD as well.

When they are through with Voyager and the Original Series, they will move onto that. The official site had a poll to gather expressions of interest a few months back, so hopefully it will go ahead. I've not seen many episodes (maybe only 1 or 2), so I look forward to having them on DVD.

I've gone Trek mad again lately, so DVD = good.

A local website has Season 1 of the Original Series down for a 8th July release date, but that seems a little early to me. Still, one of the guys that also writes for DVDBits has a contact at Paramount who gave a date around this time earlier in the year. It seems odd to start releasing those before the Voyager ones are through...

Deep Space Nine, for me. I love the Star Trek series...

I grew up watching every episode of Deep Space Nine and Voyager (and watching the last seasons of Next Generation, as well). Actually, the local FOX affiliate used to be super-cool about Trek, and would, on Saturday evenings, air the Original Series at like 5, TNG at 6, Deep Space Nine at 7. So, three whole hours. (I used to collect lots of Trek toys, ships and figures, too. But they stopped making them, really. And I read the Voyager and DS9 books, and still read the DS9 relaunch books.)

I liked Voyager, too, though as I got older (and toward the show's end), I began to see that it wasn't as well-written or structured as Deep Space Nine, or TNG. (They needed to hire some continuity police, for a start. Like, the Equinox crewmembers who survived, they joined the crew after this huge two-episode struggle, and were going to struggle to gain Janeway's trust. And we never saw them again.) Enterprise, I watched most of the first season, and only a few episodes of the following seasons thus far. My favorite Enterprise episode so far is "Dead Stop," with the creepy, sentient station. I miss Trek, though, as it's kind of (in my mind) gone downhill (that and I haven't been able to watch it much the past few years). Insurrection and Nemesis were weaker movies, I thought, while First Contact was excellent and Generations was good.

My favorite episode of Voyager is still "Scorpion, Part 1," as well as "Someone to Watch Over Me.

I love DS9 because it's a bit darker, more complex. A large cast of characters, main and supporting. Continuity. All the political intrigue from the earlier seasons, and the Dominion War later on. The plots, too. The setting. I loved the station. A stable setting, one that wasn't moving. It created more a sense of home than a starship. A lot of things I loved about that one. Some great episodes like "The Visitor," "In the Pale Moonlight," "Trials and Tribble-ations," and "Tacking Into the Wind" and the final 9 episodes. I felt it had the greatest scale, and depth. And was very rewarding to watch. It balanced character and plot perfectly.

The other day, on Spike TV (which I don't get here at college), I happened to catch a TNG episode, "Schisms," one of my favorites. I guess they're going to start airing DS9 soon, so when I'm home, maybe I can catch some of it. But I haven't purchased any Trek DVD's, simply because they're too expensive for my tastes/budget, to pay 120 plus for a single season. Maybe someday, though, if I save. If I do buy any, it'll be DS9 first...

I voted for TNG, but I have a great love for TOS, too. In fact I enjoy watching them all. DS9 would be my least favorite -- this may seem a minor criticism, but I didn't feel the chemistry between the crew members.

To me, the most important thing in the series is how the crew comes together to answer challenging questions and overcome perplexing problems while maintaining "humanity" and crew bonds.

Here's how I see them:

The Original Series - Gotta give it props for being the first, but I never got into it... too dated for me

The Next Generation - Hands down my favorite and the one I grew up with. It's also the one I voted for 8) . I have all 4 movies on DVD and the first season... I can't afford the others :(.

Deep Space Nine - Decent, but never got into it. I didn't like that they were on a station (where's the trek), nor that there wasn't a captain. Aside from that, I only watched it now and then.

Voyager - I LOVED this and was a great replacement for the void I felt when TNG went off air. It's 2nd only to TNG, in my book. Sadly, I don't have the $ for these DVDs either :(. Pleeeeeeeeeease make a movie for this. I know, it won't happen. But I can still hope.

Enterprise - Booo. I hated this after the first 5 episodes and just gave up.

I don't think it would be possible to continue Voyager in movie form because when Voyager ended, they made it back home and all went their separate ways, and in the movie "ST Nemesis" Janeway is now an admiral. So I don't think Voyager is still up there floating around.

I agree with you there. As a devoted Star Trek fan I still watch the show, but it just doesn't seem like genuine trek to me.
