Lemonade Recipes

I know this is such a throwaway topic, but I doubt it was talked about at all before, and I'm really interested in what others have to say, so here goes:
For years, I've gone with the powdered pink stuff, but I could never find a recipe for REAL lemonade (you know, sugar, water, lemons). I tried doing it myself once, with 2 quarts of water, two lemons, and continually adding sugar until I get *that taste* that is real lemonade. They sell genuine lemonade at this Amish market we go to every weekend, but I can never figure out the recipe, and I don't think they'd give it out. So, does anyone have a good recipe for lemonade?
