Well, as usual, I'm not crazy about (most) of the nominees. Here they are, though:

It is interesting, though, to see Angela Lansbury going up against Julie Andrews.

I wonder what our resident television aficionado, MMP, thinks of all this?

i'm not a big person when it comes to the Emmys. the only award shows that i like are the Academy Awards and the Golden Globes (movie parts)

Nor am I. If it's not the people deciding, I really don't care who wins what-those who truly deserve it are robbed year after year. It's all politics. It can still be fun, though, if not taken seriously, to observe the nominees and whatnot.

yeah Voting for that kind of stuff is like politics. boy i can imagine Arnold Schwarzenegger winning an Best Actor Academy Award and claiming that he is the Best Actor king until the next person wins an Best Actor Academy award next time. just to think that Tom Hanks was the Best Actor king for two years straight.

Have you ever heard the expression "It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt" ?

Boy you must really have a problem with me or something. you are sort of like Frank Grymes from the Simpsons.

Well that's certainly refreshing. It won't solve the problem, but it will help keep it from getting worse.
