If the picture is somewhere online, then all you need to do is post like this:

Code: Select all

If it's not online, you'll have to find someplace to host it, and others would know better about that.

Hi, www.photobucket.com is free and allows hotlinking. I hope this helps.

Hi Luke, I used that code and instead of showing the picture, it shows the code, similar to what you just typed, only it shows my link. Is there a size limit on pictures or something?

You need to put the link between Don't put any spaces between the two tags.

Just put Image on the right.

Example: Image Of course, don't put any spaces between the img tags. Hope this helps.

I did the work for you. Just copy everything in green:

Code: Select all

I've noticed that in some forums, people posted pictures of their DVD collections, their drawings, and I'm trying to post a pic but I can't. How do you do it?

It sounds like you'll need to crop the picture to show what you want and then host it somewhere online. There are plenty of free picture hosting places, but if you want to use one of them, keep in mind that they often times don't display pictures on message boards for very long because of all the bandwith they pull.
