I typed in ultimatedisney.com like normal, and it won't let me go to the main page! ultimatedisney.com/forum worked, but not ultimatedisney.com!

What it showed me was
"you are downloading the file
/ from ultimatedisney[1]
do you want to open this file or save it to your computer?"
What is this??? I don't get it.

I tried downloading "it", but it didn't work. It just ended up saying
"Action canceled
Internet Explorer was unable to link to the Web page you requested. The page might be temporarily unavailable."
I don't understand why it's doing this.....it's never done anything like this before.....saying I have to download something from the site and all. (plus the download didn't even work). I tried restarting my computer and re-dialing to the internet, but it did the same exact thing!
Someone please help me.....

My favorite site is ultimatedisney.com and I HAVE to be able to go to it!!!!!!!

Why is it doing this???????????

It worked just fine for me. Maybe at the time Luke was constructing it and updating it so no one could get it. Otherwise I have no idea what's going on. A few days ago I couldn't get to ANY of UD - not the mainpages, subpages, or forum. I was just taken to IncrediFind.
Do you have AOL as your server? Sometimes it just doesn't work. (according to my bro who knows ppl who have had problems w/ it b4)
Or maybe you're computer is mad at you for just going to UD and is keeping you from going there for health reasons.

Sorry you're having trouble. It shouldn't be something to do with the site, but I'm not sure why it would just start giving you trouble like that. And I wasn't updating the site at all yesterday, as I wasn't around, so that wouldn't be it. But AOL's browser has been known to give many a problem, which is why I always recommend using Internet Explorer if you use AOL to connect.
Hope it fixes itself anyway, as I'd hate for you not to visit us as much!
My reply!

Wow two little mermaids!
the whole wide web is an amazingly complex thing linking a zillion computers run by constantly updated code and protocols. So sometimes things don't work (or go *boink* in the middle of the night) and this might happen. With my ancient equipment I sometimes have to reload several times a page here to see it. Or in another example, I used to be able to go and read the HTForum, then for a time I couldn't, then I could again and now for the longest period i'm unable to go with my computer (but can with no problem with my brother's newer portable, when he comes here) (so I should get a new computer

) Anyway, in your case we all hope it's a temporary thing and updates will be done and you can access things back to normal. So patience, patience. And if it doesn't fix itself you might need a software upgrade or patch in your web browser. (I can't patch mine anymore, the next version runs in a newer OS so.. I should really get a new computer

)
