Ok, no sooner than 2099 posting the Pooh-craziness in the UK, than I noticed that Disney Australia have followed the trend with a bunch of new Pooh titles, among other things.

Gasp!
How could one say such a thing!
You know, by killing Pooh, we are really killing a small part of ourselves.
I can't live with that, can you?
More Pooh I say, more Pooh!
(Jabroni, where is my Pooh emoticon

Yeah, I've learned not to do that too.
It gives me the shits.

I think that's the rental release date. We don't often get Disney stuff before the US.
Except the Pinocchio SE.
And Sleeping Beauty (August 20).
And the Herbie Box set (July 23).
Ok, a few exceptions to the rule, but we are horribly behind in some cases. We don't even have any of the animated 'package features' on DVD.
But still. We do have koalas.
And kangaroos.
And me.

Not sure if I posted these correctly, but here are 2 pictures of the cover art from TotalDVD.com.au for Great Day of Discovery & Playtime With Winnie the Pooh. They seem to keep the theme set by the first volume of the Magical World of WTP, but have dropped the volume numbers. Weird...

He represents the inner child we should all be in touch with. He is not the brightest, but his caring and thoughtfulness make him the most genuine character around. And he is so cute. Especially the Holloway/Cummings voice
Plus, he has a sweet tooth for honey, and I'm a sugar junkie.
That, and my girlfriend digs him. We bond over Pooh

Agree with Lommis. (You only need to check my avatar to see I love Pooh)!
The Pooh character is sweet, and Jim Cummings (or Holloway before that) captures it very good with their voices.
I almost can't wait for all the Pooh releases to come.

How could you NOT love Pooh? He's short, fat, and proud of that!
