DVDizzy Forum

This will begin the first steps of what promises to be a rather industrious game: Live Action Survivor-- by far our biggest Survivor game yet! To kick things off, we'll enter the Auditioning round (just like the contestants of Survivor ), which we normally skip.

Here's how it works: Below is a list of the first of two sets of films that are 'auditioning.' A select number of the most well-known live action films were given a 'by' right into the first round. These films all debuted prior to 1980 (see the complete list here. Just post the movies from this list that you have not seen. (It might help to copy & paste the link and then delete the films that you have seen). Once 10 people have listed a film, it will be disqualified.

All posts must be made by 11:59 pm (eastern time) on Sunday, June 27th. At that time, the second round of film hopefuls will be posted. As for how the game will proceed from there, I have a pretty good plan (or so I think, lol)... just stay tuned.

Yeah, I've been keeping count of how many times each of these movies is listed. I just need a cut-off # for what stays and what goes. I had it set on 10, but we still have 'till Sunday!

I think Song of the South needs an exemption though.

I can't believe how many times I have seen the $ 1,000,000 duck. It seems Disney used to show that every three months when I was a kid.
