Well Detroit has just won the NBA title. Congrats to everyone from Detroit and Pistons fans.

I just want to say if you live in the Detroit area, please be careful, there's been a history of unruly behavoir after teams have won championships

Woohoo! Bad boys, bad boys, what you gonna do, what you gonna do when they come for you!

I guess for the Los Angeles Lakers, the answer is they're gonna lose in 5 games.

Glad to see hard work and dedication to a team game win over the money and the big individual egos.

Way to stick through your team no matter what.

As for the Lakers next year. I would not hold out a whole lot of hope. Kobe and Phil will most likely be gone. Malone will probably retire. Even if Payton stays he was unimpressive.

Sounds like their run is over for now. Time to rebuild around Shaq.

A big congrats to the Pistons. Two reasons that I am so happy to see the Motown boys whip the Lakers (in all 5 games really). As a lifelong Celtic fan I can't bear to see Phil Jackson move out of his tie with Red Auerbach with 9 World Championships as head coach. Also, the Lakers stay two championships as a franchise behind Boston 16-14. If Shaq stays they will have a great player to rebuild around. Boston's franchise died when Len Bias & Reggie Lewis both suffered very untimely deaths. Hopefully we'll get some talent for Doc Rivers to mold. Anyway, THANKS DETROIT!

I am a big Bball fan and I did not watch the series because I dispise both teams, I just hate the lakers a little bit more. I know you all wanted the Lakers to win. Most lakers fans are bandwagon so I am glad the Pistons won even though they beat my Pacers in the semi finals.

The Lakers should not of even been there, they play like some old men but with their huge egos. I used to be a fan ( in the Magic, Worthy, Abdul Jabbar days) congrats Detroit.

Actually there's a comedian who sang a little jingle similar to what I posted. So when he sings it it sounds like "I have pissed in cups, I have pissed in hats...." 8)

In all honesty they are not the Detroit Pistons at all. They are the Auburn Hills Pistons. Those of you that have lived in or near Detroit know that Auburn Hills is a good 40 plus minutes away from Detroit and is a very good area. The Pistons have been in Auburn Hills for years. I am still glad that the Lakers did not win. The finals should have been Pacers vs. Spurs IMO!
