Does anyone know if Disney's new movie the Incredibles is going to be the last movie that Pixar and Disney colaborate on together?

No, it is not. Cars, scheduled for Summer 2005, is the last one under the current agreement.

Well they'll probably renew the relationship when Eisner leaves and/or Jobs becomes Disney's CEO

That's assuming that Pixar doesn't sign with a new distributor and take Disney to court over their refusal to allow Toy Story 2 to count as a movie.

Yeah, so I guess Pixar got 100% of the revenues for this non-movie that wasn't part of the contract. A judge would have a field day with that one.

I personally think that Pixar is playing nice on that end, and waiting for Eisner to leave to see if things can be patched up.

Well those two have just been announced. As for the budget, CGI team, and release type that Disney will assign to them, no one can yet say. Officially, and as of right now, Pixar will have no involvement with these whatsoever. There's lots of conjecture that this can change, though, as the Eisner situation changes. The whole deal with Pixar is volatile and subject to change at almost any time, so all we can really do is speculate at this point.

I think its also important to point out films are 'developed' all the time, but only about a quarter of them ever make it out of "production hell". Just because Disney are 'developing' sequels doesn't mean that they will be released - they're probably just tossing a few ideas around at the moment while experimenting on the look and feel of their CGI reproductions of the original characters.

That said, it is more than likely at least one of the sequel ideas will make it out of 'production hell', if not all of them.
