Does anyone know if Disney's new movie the Incredibles is going to be the last movie that Pixar and Disney colaborate on together?
current agreement Luke, is there still a slim chance that they will get back together, I thought talks had broken off.under the current agreement.
That's assuming that Pixar doesn't sign with a new distributor and take Disney to court over their refusal to allow Toy Story 2 to count as a movie.Luke wrote:No, it is not. Cars, scheduled for Summer 2005, is the last one under the current agreement.
Okay well thanks for clearifying for meawallaceunc wrote:Well those two have just been announced. As for the budget, CGI team, and release type that Disney will assign to them, no one can yet say. Officially, and as of right now, Pixar will have no involvement with these whatsoever. There's lots of conjecture that this can change, though, as the Eisner situation changes. The whole deal with Pixar is volatile and subject to change at almost any time, so all we can really do is speculate at this point.

I think its also important to point out films are 'developed' all the time, but only about a quarter of them ever make it out of "production hell". Just because Disney are 'developing' sequels doesn't mean that they will be released - they're probably just tossing a few ideas around at the moment while experimenting on the look and feel of their CGI reproductions of the original characters.DreamerQ18 wrote:I tink it was last week there was a thread about the Monsters Inc. and a Bugs life Sequals if they were made would Pixar be making those to ? or would they be Cheap sequals I am asking because last time I received mixed answers.
