Lol, true!
One can only hope. Since they left The Sweatbox off the DVD, I'd love for it to turn up on Blu-Ray for The Emperor's New Groove.

I've finally found it!! I've found a copy of The Sweatbox online. However, it's the workprint version and not the final, theatrical one. Still, it's better than nothing.
You can download it here and here. Attention: only the links for Fileserve (from the first source) and Uploaded (from the second source) are working.
Download it quickly before Disney removes those links also.

I do prefer direct downloads when it's a single link, but it's a big hassle to download multiple files to combine into one. especially if the host has certain limits on it forcing you to wait an hour or something before you can download anything else. I know there are file managers to ease that but I could never get those to work for some reason.
your mile will vary with torrents and seeders, but if its alive at least I don't have to worry about failed downloads or jumping through other hoops.
Thanks for the torrent link, I'll give that a shot. I don't mind waiting so long it doesn't die on me.
Edit: Getting about 70 Kbs a sec, not the worst Ive seen. should only take a few hours.

Hi I was wondering if anyone has the Sweatbox in a different file format then avi such as mov or mp4? Cause it doesn't seem to work on my computer. I tried converting it and only part one works. It says the rest of the files are corrupted.
I can't do torrents either.
So does anyone have it in a different file or one that isn't corrupted? I'd really appreciate it!

Cripes, I'm surprised it took this long. I managed to get it from the split links pretty easily, since anything with the words "Disney" and "torrent" in it make me grab at my collar in a comical fashion.
"Ta ta ta taaaa! Look at me... I'm a snowman! I'm gonna go stand on someone's lawn if I don't get something to do around here pretty soon!"
Just download VLC player - it can play AVI files directly.Animalia wrote:Hi I was wondering if anyone has the Sweatbox in a different file format then avi such as mov or mp4? ^Strange, I had no problems getting if off the direct download links provided above. Plays in Quicktime, DivX and of course the miracle player VLC. Perhaps you didn't use a good rar extraction program. I recommend UnRarX.
That said, I'm uploading it to YouTube for members of this site. It's going to be a private video, so PM me if you want the link and include your YouTube user name (so I know to allow you access).

Just finished watching it.
So, why was this buried again? Aside from some cursing and some references here and there it didn't seem like anything that would hurt Disney's reputation, its just an honest look at the process. I could see if Sting had actually quit on bad terms or something but everything ended on a happy note so there's no reason it couldn't have been released by now.

I think it was from how it depicted the execs as ridiculously incompetent and dumb. Which of course would offend that whole business side of Disney.Kyle wrote:Just finished watching it.

Hey Everyone,
Ok, so I just finished watching it. First off, I think it's a great documentary. It's one of the most honest depictions of a collaborative creative process I have ever seen.
I agree with some of the comments: it doesn't put Disney in a bad light, but one has to admit it doesn't portray the company as the most desirable place to work at; it doesn't make working for them (as an outsider) a very enticing idea; and overall, it shows how bumpy the process can be, instead of the idealized, pixie-dust-covered, "we magically made this movie and it's wonderful" version of the process.
It shows Roger Allers and Andreas Deja, both HUGE names in animation being led out of the production...
That being said, I would still love to work for them. And I feel very lucky I got to see this film.
BUT THE MAIN QUESTION REMAINS: SOTIRIS... HOW THE HECK DID U GET THIS FILM????
