Where's Loomis? I haven't been in Off-Topic much lately, but unless he's been in there, I've noticed that he hasn't been around much lately.

Well, with Winter fast approaching my guess is he's either taking one last trip to the Gator Petting Zoos or out picking up this year's Snow Bunny.

I think the official line is he's busy and doesn't have anything to reply with. But I'm saddened - I do wish he'd post more!
While we're at it, Disneyguru's made his long-awaited return this week, but others have been missing. poco is posting with not much frequency these days, and Squirrel seems to have disappeared altogether for a month now.

Yes- DG we're very glad to see you've ended your hiatus. As for Loomis, poco, squirrel, etc (I was just thinking of someone else the other day, I think)- hope you're back soon.

Don't worry. Worst case scenario: They're all dead.

Oh my. That actually does bring up something that I've thought of before, and I don't want to come off as morbid or anything (b/c I'm definitely not), but what if a long-time poster on this or any message board were to die? How would its members ever know? Too bad there's no system in place or anything like that so that people could know. It seems kinda sad. Maybe everyone should leave word somehow to have people notified in that unfortunate, improbable event.

Well, Maybe Loomis, poco and squirrel are on vacation or something relaxing themselves away from the computer.
They could also be at Disney World or Disneyland or something.
I don't think they would just quit this forum.

We've Missed You

You know, I've always thought about that as well. I don't think there
is a way except through friends and family who know you're a member of certain forums.
But, them being dead is just the worst case scenario. I'm pretty positive they're still alive.

Yes! I didn't mean to imply I thought that was the case with them!!!

I hope it didn't come off that way, it just reminded me of it.

Ah, it didn't come off that way. I knew you didn't think they were dead, but I just wanted to...uh, add that just to make sure no one else thought that.
But, if we did find out that someone had died, what would we do about it? Devote a thread to him/her?

by Yuki
yeah, probably a thread devoted to them!
I remember a thread devoted to Tangela when he was banned, so if a whole thread was devoted to someone who was banned, then most certanatly to someone who died...
At least...that's what I would do if I knew of a death of someone here on the forum.

Well, Loomis's last posts were the last day of May, so it wasn't TOO long ago...
poco here

Hey all. Yes, I have been busy. I have my boards coming up which have taken a lot of my time getting prepared for. Also, new hires came in and I am helping orient them to the hospital.
Also, my pet hedgehog died. I am thinking of getting a dog.

Indeed... it looks like he just posted this week too. I guess he's just occasionally popping up over in International.

I'm really sorry about your hedgehog. It's harder losing a pet than a lot of people realize. On the upside, dogs are great fun! If they behave, that is ...

I thought of a better name topic.
Hey, Aaron change the name topic to "Got Loomis?
That would be so cool and funny.
Thanks!!!

That's awesome, MMP!

Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated.

What, the press release hasn't been posted? I'm touched people would miss me! Yeah, I just took a little time out for a while because I think I had run out of things to post about, and I have been more than a little busy. Getting back into my old routine slowly now...
Secret Disney Man wrote:Well, Loomis's last posts were the last day of May, so it wasn't TOO long ago...
I have been posting! In the International forum mainly, but posting this week at any rate. Again, I haven't had huge amounts to say...but I guess that hasn't stopped me in the past!
awallaceunc wrote:And you need milk for CHEESE ... and now we've come full circle to Loomis.
And with a line like that, how could I NOT come back to post?
Hopefully talk to y'all soon. New computer, new chance for postacular goodness.
