I'm looking at a few auctions of ebay for OOP classics right now. They are 101 Dalmations, Lady and The Tramp, and Jungle Book. I'm pretty sure they are authentic, the seller has pics up of the shrink wrap, the special offers on the front and has great feedback. I'm just curious what everyone here thinks is a fair price, I would really like to have them (especially 101 dalmations) but I don't wan`t to over pay.

Seeing as the original sale price for the DVDs was $40, and they are very hard to find nowadays, I'd say each is worth about $60-$70 bucks. I wouldn't pay a penny more, in your position.

But for that price, I'm content with waiting for the PEs.

I paid $50.00 for my copy of Lady and the Tramp. That was 2 years ago. I think they are worth whatever you are willing to pay for them.

I would also wait for the Platinum Editions of 101 Dalmatians, Lady and The Tramp, and Jungle Book.
Limited Issue of 101 Dalmatians, Lady and the Tramp and Jungle Book are very boneless they don't have any extras and the movies are not restored. I prefer to have the Platinum Edition since they are 2 Disc DVD and have will have tons of extras. :D

Man honestly I would just froget the exist and just wait for them to be realsed Platinum Edtions. Thins about $50 dollars for a DVD with bad quality menaing no effort to imporve the image and no extra features sounds like hiwways robbery to me. Save your money and your urges and just wait thats what I would do.

I agree with these guys unless you really must have them now I say put them out of your mind and wait. I purposely held out on buying waiting for better.

If you buy them now, the upside is that you can re-sell them later. However, they'll no longer be shrink-wrapped, and the re-releases of them as Platinums will drive the LE value down, considerably. Therefore, I advise waiting as well. You'd regret it later.
