I am very interested in Mickey Mouse in Color Volume 2, but I never got Mickey Mouse in Color 1. I don't know if it would be good to buy a volume 2 of something, but not have the volume 1  (The volume 1's are very hard to find, right?) Any opinions?

Yes I would buy it. You don't need volume one to enjoy volume 2.

Well, first of all you should get Mickey Mouse in Living Color 2 before they disappear. It's getting harder to find everyday.
If you want Mickey Mouse in Living Color 1 you should get it at E-bay.

I would buy it but there's no question (to me) that the best Mickey's are in MMILC1. MMILC2 is nice too though.

I'm seriously thinking of buying it even though I'm not the biggest Mickey Mouse fan in the world. But I'm thinking of getting it cause it has Mickey's Christmas Carol on it and I love that little movie.

And yes, I don't have the first set, if you couldn't tell based on the fact that I even responded to this thread in the first place. ;)

Absolutely unquestionalby go buy it. The only reason to buy both or to watch them is because of the historical interest and watching the character develop. But in order to do that properly you need the onrelaseed black and white volume 2.

Volume 1 will still be perfectly watchable and funny viewed after Vol 2. No real continuity issues.
