New Magic Kingdom Park: Villains Land

A long time ago, back in 2007, lord-of-sith started a thread about rumors of a new Villains park coming to Walt Disney World. Many people loved the idea, and many people denied the idea could ever happen.
Guys, the fan dream is actually, really, finally coming true.
Back in 2024, Disney revealed a concept art for a land in Walt Disney World that was themed around the Disney villains. It had what looked like Maleficent's Forbidden Mountain castle and Maleficent herself as a dragon breathing green fire on a roller coaster in brambles, and some waterfalls.

At D23 2026, Disney announced the new park coming to Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World, Villains Land.

When you first enter, you come upon a wishing well. But a mysterious person made an evil wish on it, and the poison magic broke it and twisted the land into The Dark Forest. Disney Villains such as Cruella, The Evil Queen, and Dr. Facilier have come forth to claim the land’s cursed magic and use it to conjure the perfect new lairs for themselves that reflect their style and fiendish personality.

The ambitious scope of the land is supposed to be like that of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. It is completely immersive, with villains taking over the architecture, the food, the shops, and the landscape itself.
The first attraction is a thrilling Maleficent roller coaster. You race through the enchanted briar around the castle fortress on the Forbidden Mountain, and even encounter Maleficent herself. It will include elements never attempted before on a Disney coaster.

The second attraction takes you down into the catacombs beneath the Evil Queen’s castle. There, you come face-to-face with the Magic Mirror, and enter his Mirror Realm on the other side of the glass. Riders will be surrounded by special effects and incredible physical set pieces, and mesmerized by a whole array of gruesome Disney villains conjured as only the Magic Mirror can with his unique perspective.

To me, the concept art looks like it will be a boat ride on water, but apparently Disney confirmed at D23 it will not be a boat ride with any water.
Here are some pictures of models for the new land:

I am beyond freaking excited. I can’t wait to go.
