Dang. If she was struggling with drug addiction from when she was thirteen, that would have overlapped with her work on the tv series.

Sad story. So it turned out later that she died from AIDS, most likely from drug use. Shame. If she was experiencing homelessness, I understand she must have been struggling.
I'm not really a fan of the Lilo character, always found her annoying a la Mowgli or Peter Pan, but I feel sorry for this person must have experienced, what little I now know of her. I had no idea she was in The Ring, by the way (a movie I'm not fond of, but which was a big thing back when).
