Anyone know if I can still get this anywhere (tin) for a good price, other than ebay? Or if someone saw it at some store or something.

I would check around you local stores. There are tons of them in my area, one store had nine of them. I'm in Canada, and I know that you can still order them through the Music World chain.

Exactly! I've seen this Treasure numerous times at several different local retailers. It's one of the least popular, so just check back walls and hidden crevases, and you'll be sre to find it. If not, Amazon.ca is selling it for 33.29$ CAN in their marketplace:

Good luck, and happy searching!

I just did a search on DVDpricesearch.com and found this link:
http://www.ecampus.com/movie_detail.asp ... PID=179100
For what it's worth it does say "Collectible Tin Case" in the summary.

Thanks. Whats the difference between canadian and ecampus versions? I kinda trust amazon more, so is there anyway I can ask them if its tin or not?

You can always e-mail amazon if you want. Or for the other one listed on the marketplace you could always ask the seller directly. Just click on his user name and then click the "request e-mail" hyperlink to send him a message.

The only difference is that the Canadian tin and dvd case has a tiny little Canadian flag printed beside the Region 1 logo and the Disney DVD logo. There are no differences in content.
I know some care so much, they'd never order the Canadian version. Personally, I think the maple leaf looks cool, and it makes it even rarer, as only a fraction of the 150,000 are the Canadian version.
On other disks, differences are larger. On Monsters Inc, the Canadian version ditched the Full Frame version, which gets a major thumbs up.
The one thing that does bother me is that some companies like Universal and Dreamworks print the covers in both English and French. This often completely ruins a cover. Take "Catch Me if you Can", we get an extra set of arrows, with "Arrete-moi si tu peux" on it. Back covers are even worse, as they shrink most text down to half size, and do one version in english, one in french. The end result is usually a cover that satisfies no one, English or French.

As someone who lives in Canada most of the year, I feel your pain.

Someone mentioned that this is one of the least popular Treasures. I have no idea why. The Reluctant Dragon is a charming film. And disc 2 is simply great, The History of the Animated Drawing, The Plausible Impossible and Tricks of our Trade are all just classics

I have seen several of these at the various Disney Outlet stores. Also, at Best buy and movie trading stores.
They are also available from the Disney movie club, in the multipacks section, but then you get either the 4 or 3 with it included. Can't remember specifically which one it was in.

It did on EBay, which is where I got the link. It sold for significantly more than a sealed edition, and I'm wondering if a few Gold Tins didn't sneak into the production run?
You'll also notice it's the Canadian version....
