Is there any information about a Silly SYmphonies II DVD. I thought that it would have more popularity than MM B&W II.

Maybe Silly Symphoines 2 could be Wave 5!!!!
These are confirmed to be Wave 4
True Life Adventures,
Mickey Mouse in Black and White: Volume 2,
Pluto collection
Mickey Mouse Club collection

At this moment SS II is nothing more than an Internet wet dream.
Let us first get wave 3. Then wave 4. THEN maybe we can think about SS II and wave 5.

I'm with Ludwig. I
really hope a second volume of Silly Symphonies is released - then that will be that. They could very likely fit the rest of the SS's on another 2-disc volume, since there's about what, 35-40 shorts left? At 7 minutes each? That's do-able, I'd think.
My ideal wave 5 (after seeing 3 and 4 through!) would be -
~A Disney Education (obviously all/most of Disney's educational material)
~Silly Symphonies: Volume Two
~The Chronological Donald: Volume Two
~
Song of the South (okay, I
know that's a bit of a stretch, but it's possible!!)

I agree, I would love a Silly Symphonies Vol. 2 dvd set. That would be an awesome addition to my collection. I'll keep my fingers crossed for this set in the 5th wave next year. I won't hold my breath, though.

I have no opinion as to which sets should be released in which "wave", but it would surprise me if we don't get a second Silly Symphonies set sooner rather than later. And yes, it should include the rest of the films. The first set had 37 of a total of 75, so that leaves 38 for the second set.

It is precisely because of Silly Symphonies II's now mythic status, generated by internet buz and anticipation that they have delayed for a future date. Being my opinion only. This and the potentialy controversial stuff. Let them release them in the order they see fit that will facilitate the most public acceptance possible. We are extremely frotunate to be getting the wartime material this year, and shorts like Mickey's Mellodrama next year with the controversial stuff intact. Patience is in order to not rock the boat, or get ahead of ourselves, seeing as how these releases need to remain markatable, so they will continue to release them. MMC and True Life A. are pretty harmless releases, void of any significant controversy minus the lemer incident. We'll get them, we just need to be patient. There is a clever strategy behind all of this, I'm sure of it.

Who says it won't be censored.

What's that??

Supposedly Disney caused Lemmings to commit mass suicide. I think that there is a bigger market for Silly Symphonies than for True Life Adventures.

Oh, heh - you mean
lemmings!
And it's true, too!
White Wilderness was one of the major reasons, if not
the major reason, that people believe lemmings commit mass suicide by jumping over cliffs when their population gets too high. That, and that stupid computer game.
Read about it here!
