Queen of Hearts Live-Action Film?

The Queen of Hearts might be getting the Maleficent/Cruella treatment.
According to industry insider Daniel RPK, there are currently plans to make an origin story about the Queen of Hearts from “Alice in Wonderland.” However, RPK notes that the project will not be connected to the studio’s recent live-action Alice in Wonderland films. He adds that Julia Hart, the director of both of Disney’s Stargirl films, is expected to write and direct the project.

You are right, Bruno! Also, I wish we got Helena for it because she was the best actress in the Alice live-action films and was one of the best, if not the best, performances in a Disney Animated turned Live-Action film, plus I just love her.

I just assumed this would be unrelated to the Burton films. They dort of did a backstory with HBC's Red Queen in the sequel.

Oh yes, you did remind me they gave her a sort of backstory. I would just rather even more of Helena, haha.
