Seeing as two of the best scenes in the film are also considered the scariest. Which scene scared/is scarier for you?

2 great scary scenes that are almost equally terrifying!

As a child i was traumatized by the forest scene but now I think the Queens transformation is scarier, from the effects, her expressions and her laugh, its slightly more intense

I really love both sequences, especially the breathtaking animation. And while neither sequence really scared me as a child (unlike Margaret Hamilton’s Wicked Witch of the West in Oz), I voted for the Queen’s transformation for many of the same reasons as Disneynerd gave previously.

Honestly, neither scene scared me. But the queen's transformation was (and still is) my favorite part of that movie.

Same, but for me it's the other way around.

The only Disney movie I remember being scared of was The Lion King— the stampede and the character of Scar, in general, were very frightening to me.
I agree with the other posters who say they love the Evil Queen’s transformation scene. As a child, I would usually only role play as good characters like the princesses but I loved the Evil Queen. I loved to hold a cup in both of my hands to drink a “potion.” I loved the way her cape dramatically fluttered behind her when she descended a staircase. I still love these things. What a fabulous character.

As a child, I used to drink my Diet Coke (Tab actually) from a goblet my parents had and say “Now begin thy magic spell”.
I’m sure I’m not the only queer Disney kid who did that. And what gay boy didn’t want the Evil Queen’s cape?
The Evil Queen, Lady Tremaine, and Maleficent are the only Disney Villainesses I love almost as much as the Princesses in their stories!

as a kid I was the most terrified by the queen's dungeon and the skeleton rotting in the cell, I dont really remember the transformation per se and only vaguely remember the forest

Neither scared me, but I to this day adore the Queen's transformation. I saw a snippet of it in a commercial for the movie reissue, with the part where her hair comes out of her cowl and turns white. I asked my mom to draw the Queen's transformation for me, and I said, "You didn't draw her hair flying all around!" Haha.
I had a "creepy" toy "laboratory" set where you could make a tasty "potion" that foamed. I pretended I was the evil Queen going to turn into the hag with it.
On a related note, I loved many versions of Snow White, and tried to copy what the evil Queen did in the Cannon Movie Tales version. So covered evil royal blankets I tried to cut an apple in half to make one side "poisoned" and cut my thumb. I cried for my mommy and she helped me take care of that lol.

When I was a kid, The Evil Queen was the only Disney Villain who scared me, especially during that scene where she says "The heart of a pig?! Then I've been tricked". Here facial expression was so terrifying. So, I'm going to go with The Transformation scene. The scene with Snow White alone in the forest was fascinating to me. It is so brilliantly staged. I love how she imagines everything around her coming to life to kill her.

Nothing much in animated films really frightened me like with live-action (and occasionally stop-motion) would. The only thing I can sort of remember being slightly scared by as a child were when they depicted wild animals like Monstro, the Bear in TF&tH, or the dinosaurs in TLBT (Bluth). Oh, and the scene when the firstborn are taken in The Prince of Egypt. Well, the scene with Penny down in the hole looking for the diamond would give me the creeps a little bit. At most, the scenes that had a tinge of horror were more of a thrill to watch over and over for me, that's something I always related to Lazario on.
But between these scenes, I suppose the Queen transforming? As a child, the scene with SW running through the woods was always rather silly to me.

Yes, Divinity, Monstro did scare me as a kid! Today, a real life version of him is my biggest fear!
I got disturbed by the first born killing in The Prince of Egypt.
Sotiris, yes, that is the scariest part of the film! I heard theaters had to keep reupholstering the seats because kids kept wetting themselves at that scene! The hag scares one of my friends to this day!

I believe that was during the woods scene actually.

I've always been frightened of the scene of Snow White running through the forest after being ordered by the huntsman ever since I had the video as a boy which I still have to this day. It's my most scariest Disney scene.
