I think each place is considered a resort (such as Disneyland Paris Resort, or Walt Disney World Resort)

it's all confusing to me too

That's quite many parks. I'm quite confused about the park/resort too.

Hong Kong Disneyland Resort will have Hong Kong Disneyland Park, a Downtown Disney-style entertainment district, and two hotels: Disney's Hollywood Hotel & Disneyland Hotel.

Disneyland Resort Paris and Tokyo Disney Resort also has their own "Downtown Disney's", Disney Village in Paris and Ikispiari in Tokyo.

Yeah, hmm... anybody here been to all 4 of the current resorts? What about every park/district/institution inside of the 4 current resorts? What about every attraction/store/restaurant within those park/district/institutions? If you REALLY wanna impress me... anyone done all that and stayed at the Hilton Head resort and done the cruises??

I've never even done all that for WDW (though I have done most).

MMP, we can switch places once. I'm 10 hours from WDW, so I've been a good number of times, but never anywhere else. I vow to make it at least Disneyland in Anaheim in the next couple of years!

What about River Country? I thought it was one of Disney's three water parks in Orlando.

River Country seems to have ceased to exist. With as much as I do know about WDW, you'd think that I would know what happened to it, but I'm embarassed to say that I don't. Would anyone else like to fill us in? I've been meaning to ask about it all week.

River Country has been closed. According to rumors, it could possibly re-open one day as a pool area for one of the hotels.

Right, I just don't get why it closed, and when. I know it's been closed for a LONG time, and I had forgotten it ever existed until I saw a pic of it this week.

The Mini Golf courses are Disney's Winter Summerland next to Blizzard Beach and Fantasia Gardens near Disney's Boardwalk. Don't forget Fort Wilderness (besides a resort, it also functions as an attraction with a Petting Zoo, outdoor activities, and Dinner theatre, etc.) and the Disney Racetrack. Oh! And the Wedding Pavillion! And Celebration, the Disney town...okay, Kram Nebuer read Birnbaum's official guide too much...Also, outside of Orlando is Disney's Vero Beach Resort.

Heh, fun topic! We should make this the Disney Theme Park Forum

Word on the street was there was some sort of bacteria problem which lead to its closing. I can't confirm the truth of it, but I also heard that it was sort of outdated as a water park and that lead to its closing since they now have 2 water parks that are much better.
