Well I know that most of the preorders around here are through amazon for those who are planning on preordering the Alladin's Collector's Gift Set take caution
Apparently I wasn't aware that some stores did carry the Lion King Collector's Gift Set and I got screwed outta my money's worth from preordering with Amazon Furthermore my gift set got damaged through shipping. Not too badly I mean the collector box and my box holding the litographs got damaged
so I recommend just waiting until Best Buy has it. i guarantee you neednt worry about expensive shipping prices or getting a shipping damaged product if you do so

I picked up my Lion King Collector's set the day it came out at Wal-mart. It came in a protective plastic case that I could barely get in to. I was afraid I was going to damage my box trying to get the plastic off!

If you have a problem with a damaged package, Amazon is ALWAYS happy to replace it free of charge. They have the best customer service of any Internet store I've ever used. So, if you were "screwed" out of your money, it's your own fault for not contacting Amazon and explaining your situation for them.
As for expensive shipping charges, on something like the Gift Sets that are over $25, it's free. So, again, I'm a bit confused.

Yes, I agree with luke that amazon's "customer" policy or whatnot is very good. I've heard great experiences with their previous Treasure shipments, so I'm not really worrying myself over amazon.

Yes, nasty lot they are...
I have to agree with Luke and the other positive remarks here - I have had nothing but good fortune with Amazon. I am actually hesitant to shop with anyone else (even if they are a few dollars cheaper) simply because they are so reliable and have never done me wrong.
I don't think any online store is completely free of postal-related mishaps, but as Luke said, Amazon are ALWAYS happy to compensate. I have never once known them to not fix an order. In fact, several times they have sent out replacements without queries or asking for the product back(mind you, I think there were widespread problems in those instances).
I anxiously await the day when there is an Amazon Australia!

Amazon is great. Free shipping and easy returns. One time a DVD was scrached and they sent a replacement.
