Last time we had yet another very close round, and we voted off 2 more movies. So far, the films voted off are..
Round 1 - The Three Cabelleros, The Aristocats, Oliver & Company, The Adventures of Ichabod & Mr. Toad
Round 2 - Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Saludos Amigos, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Treasure Planet
Round 3 - Make Mine Music, The Black Cauldron, The Great Mouse Detective, Hercules
Round 4 - Melody Time, The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh, The Sword In The Stone, The Rescuers Down Under
Round 5 - Fun & Fancy Free, Robin Hood*
Round 6 - The Rescuers, The Fox and the Hound
Round 7 - Fantasia 2000, Mulan
Round 8 - Dumbo, Pocahontas

Recap:

It works just like the Survivor TV show. Basically, come on here once every 2 days (we've shortened it from 3 days to 2 based on the first four rounds) and vote for the Disney Animated Classic (see the list http://www.ultimatedisney.com/ultimateclassics.htm ) that you want to vote off, i.e., the one that you like the least! At the end of the 2 days, I'll come on here and announce who got voted off, and a new thread will start for the 10th round. This gets to be a lot of fun, especially when it gets down to the wire.

The TWO movies that receive the most votes will be kicked off each week, UNTIL we are down to the final 11 and 5, then it will change up some!

Just to reiterate: Every 2 days, 2 movies will go off now. Got it? Good.

So, Survivors ready?? Come on in and vote off ONLY ONE of these remaining movies (less than 20 films remaining!!):

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Pinocchio
Fantasia
Bambi
Cinderella
Alice in Wonderland
Peter Pan
Lady and the Tramp
Sleeping Beauty
101 Dalmatians
The Jungle Book
The Little Mermaid
Beauty and the Beast
Aladdin
The Lion King
Tarzan
The Emperor's New Groove
Lilo & Stitch
Brother Bear

Reminder: Please post your vote alone in bold, as this makes it easier for me.

Voting ends at midnight (EASTERN TIME) on Saturday, April 17th.

*Round 5 marked the transition from voting off 4 movies per every 3 days to voting off 2 movies per every 2 days.

Though it was expected, its sad that Dumbo was voted off. The more I see of stuff like this, the more under-rated I think it is.

Yeah, I was also very sad to see Dumbo and Pocahontas go. They aren't the best, but I think they're better than some of the remaining ones. :(

Bambi, yes yes it's a classic, but the story really lacks when the mom dies, IMO. This is getting very hard!

I guess I should have known it was a lost battle with Dumbo, atleast I understood when I saw three of the ones voting for that one now voting for Bambi. There can be no tast of art at all. :(

This time I am voting on Brother Bear

I'd have to say that Dumbo is one of the best Disney films, for myself. Some may just think of it as simple and sweet, but its such a good peice of storytelling with animation. It really gets its emotions across incredibly well, has fantastic songs, and that Pink Elephant sequence is mind-blowing.
