I really liked the commercial. Not everything Disney puts out for the 100th has to include the same imagery. Everything shown is representative of the company. There is a vast history of media to choose from, so I didn't miss seeing some staples. Granted it is kind of weird what they omitted, but in the same breath you can look at other promotion materials and find what was missing, so I don't think its anything to get too bent out of shape about.

Vlad,
Can I just say I agree with so many of your posts? Have a great week!
Thanks, man. That's very nice of you, same to you!

How'd you like it? I wish it were coming to Chicago too! I've been tempted to plan a special trip. Over the summer, I was able to go to a Di Vinci themed even much like this and I really enjoyed it.

I want to see Moana Live in action
I think they will start making the Revival films in live-action soon, personally. They're already making Lilo & Stitch after all.

I would definitely have been interested in 'remakes' for TP&TF, Tangled, Frozen, and Moana before the Mulan 2020, Cruella, and TLM 2023 came along and they started changing everything to the point of being unrecognizable. Even the Lilo & Stitch remake is cutting half the cast, apparently.

Hi, I'm looking for Disney100 merchandise which features a lot of characters. Has anyone seen some merchandising like the ones in these links: https://www.shopforgeek.com/nl/DISNEY-1 ... 17806.html and https://www.plazajapan.com/4905823940136/. Thanks in advance!

I ordered The Story of Disney: 100 Years of Wonder and Walt Disney: An American Original.
Has anyone already got the The Story of Disney: 100 Years of Wonder and can provide a review about it?

Wow, unless I’m mistaken, I noticed that the package features are ignored and Bambi is given only a silhouette and Maleficent is featured to reflect Sleeping Beauty rather than Aurora, but Mirabel’s and Asha’s representations are HUGE!
I know choices had to be made from 100 films, but to me the significance of certain films is skewed.
Thank goodness I don’t care that Strange World is represented by that blob character! Made me laugh.
Bottom line- they did a good job but I’m sure each of us would have chosen different characters/scenes to represent each film. You can’t please everybody.
Glad to see Snow White and Cinderella at least got as much space as Encanto, Frozen and Wish.

Have you received your copy? If so, what do you think of it? I put it on my wishlist when it was announced, haven't bought it yet, just read the Amazon reviews, and apparently it's a big book of bad design and few photos...

I'm really impressed with that mural. I agree with you, carolinakid, that every person's design of the mural surely would look differently. At least all the films are represented at the bottom.

I’m just glad Winnie the Pooh is on there.

I got the book, it's a big book but I agree that the design is not great:

As you can see, every layout has that 100 logo on the pages and the margins are too large in my opinion.

There are images but not as much as something like The Disney Archives book, or "Art of" books. I haven't read it yet so I can't say anything about the content.

Thank you! Sigh, the bottom right of that left page says "Anika Anika Noni Rose.". They need an editor!

I’m just glad Winnie the Pooh is on there.

Me too, D23Expo! Although I’m a Princess kind of guy, it was great seeing Pooh Bear!
Did you know in Spanish we call him “Wini Pu”?
I just wish Bambi had gotten a bit more emphasis and Mr Toad/Ichabod. Although in truth, it was kind of difficult for me to see who all is there.

It`s surprising how there`s been so little pictures or videos about the book. But I`ve ordered my copy and I can`t wait to get it ;)
