A slightly different poll this year, because, let's face it, even if there were some bright spots, it still was a stinker on the whole. Marvel and Star Wars not included.

From worst to least awful:
1. Pinocchio
2. Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers
3. Lightyear
4. Strange World
5. Disenchanted
6. Turning Red

I haven't watched Hocus Pocus 2 but I'm sure it was as mediocre as the others. This year was probably Disney's worst in a long time, the only genuinely good film here is Turning Red. Even Disenchanted was pretty mediocre unfortunately, which is a shame since it was the one I was looking forward to the most and the trailers mostly looked promising.

This is like a reverse Sophie's Choice! Oof, Disney released a lot of duds this year. I voted for Chip & Dale because of the sheer disrespect for Disney's legacy and the awful toon-shaded CG.

All of them but Strange World deserves special mention as the worst of the worst.

Probably Chip 'n Dale. I'd rank them:

6. Lightyear ~ Probably better than HP2 and Disenchanted, but the nostalgia gives them more value for me.

I didn't hate any of them, but I thought Hocus Pocus 2 through Chip 'n Dale were all low quality.

Pinocchio

I voted for Chip 'N Dale Rescue Rangers. I agree with Soriris' reasons why!! Remakes make me upset so I didn't see Pinocchio, I didn't watch Hocus Pocus 2, and I loved all the others in the list!!

Pinocchio, no question about it. I would also add Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration. I know it's not a movie, but more of a special, but it was still c****y.

Good idea to make a worst movie poll this time, Mooky, since there have been so many disappointing films from Disney this year! I would love to vote for Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers , but to be fair, I still haven't watched Pinocchio and I think I should see it before voting. I'll try to do it one of these days.

I normally watch every new Disney movie as soon as I can, either in theaters or on home video/Disney+ if I'm not interested enough to see them on the big screen, even when they have bad reviews, as I'm curious about them. But in this case, I wasn't able to see Pinocchio the day it premiered on Disney+ and then the D23 Expo started and there were lots of news and stuff to read. The fact that the reviews were so bad also made me think maybe it would be better for me not to see it at all and not have the memory of it damage my image of the original in any way. But I'm still somewhat curious about it, so I think I'll watch it after all. I'll participate in the poll and post my ranking once I do.

I've finally watched Pinocchio. It was bad, but I didn't find it much worse than other live-action remakes. Maybe it felt more like a TV movie than some of the others, though. These live-action retellings are all offensive to the originals, in my opinion, but I found Chip 'N Dale Rescue Rangers even more disrespectful than Pinocchio. And, like Sotiris, I hated the low-quality toon-shaded CG they tried to pass for 2D animation, so now I can safely say it's my least favorite of the year and the worst to me. Here's my ranking from least to most favorite:
