Just wondering which ones are the most eagerly anticipated. Respond to this message if I missed one or you have a killer idea for a future tin not listed!

I said Donald Duck, because he has not gotten a dvd yet, but the truth is Mickey bw & c 2 are just as anxoiusly anticipated, as is Silly Symphonies 2, although the Silly Symphonies are new to me, I grew up w/ Mickey and Donald, who ar eequally special to me.

I am REALLY excited about the Wartime Cartoons! So, I voted for that one naturally. All the others look great too. Any old or lost animation is desireable and I would like to see the educational stuff again.

It was a tough call (kinda), as there are so many periods I'd like to see whacked onto shiny discs.

However, I went with Wartime mainly because I find the era and the propaganda from that era fascinating. Anyone who has seen any of the wartime cartoons knows what I am talking about. It is unbelievable.

More than likey though, when the next wave is announced I'll buy as many as money will allow me.

I will buy virtually anything Disney releases under this label. I'm most looking forward to "Wartime Disney" because it might have shorts that have been locked away for a long time ("Der Fuhrer's Face," anybody?).
But Donald's cartoons have always been my favorite and I'd love to see those, as well as more Mickey.
If they put "Mars and Beyond" on the Space collection, I might wet myself.
And I hope they figure out a way to put "An Adventure in Color/Donald in Mathmagicland" (both segments!) on DVD somewhere...

Wasn't Clown of the Jungle uncensored on Whispers: An Elephant's Tale? I saw guns, attempted suicide, etc. If it was censored, what was left out?

I also picked Wartime Disney. I think it's a fascinating era to learn about. And Disney has so many things hidden in the archives, such as "Der Fuehrer's Face" and "Victory Through Air Power". They NEED to be released as soon as possible!
I've seen some of these films (thanks to the internet!), and some of them are really shocking (just wach "Education for Death" and you'll see what I mean). I just hope they are released uncensored!

Well, that sounds like that was the stuff that was cut out. I read that they censored the cartoon at some point but I guess that one is uncut, cool! I didn't see Whispers: An Elephant's Tale was it good? Worth buying?
