Old news by now, but like Pat Carroll, I still feel like Olivia needs to be acknowledged. :(

My mother was a big fan--mostly of Grease--and my uncle (her brother) was an even bigger fan of all things ONJ, I think. I don't have as much attachment to her, though I did like her. Although I enjoy Grease, my favorite parts were more Travolta and the Rizzo / Beauty School Dropout characters. Xanadu was probably the thing I liked most about her growing up, although I found the movie kind of boring when I watched it with adult eyes. Still, "Xanadu" is hands down my favorite song by her; she had a beautiful voice. "Physical," and "If You Love Me (Let Me Know)" are my next two favorites. I like her cover of "Part of Your World," too, one of the better celebrity covers of the song.

She passed much younger than I'd have expected, so it was surprising news to me. I'm glad she was with her family in her final moments. Rest in peace.

Listening to most often lately:
Ariana Grande ~ "we can't be friends (wait for your love)"
Ariana Grande ~ "imperfect for you"
Kacey Musgraves ~ "The Architect"
