Deadline.com is reporting that Yvette Mimieux, who played "Dr. Kate McCrae" in Disney's 1979 film "The Black Hole," has passed away, having just turned 80 on January 8th, 2022--just ten days before her passing.
Mimieux's passing leaves Joseph Bottoms (Lt. Charlie Pizer) as the last surviving member of "The Black Hole"'s core cast.
