Sir Ian Holm (1931-2020)

CNN is reporting that actor Sir Ian Holm has passed away at age 88 of causes related to Parkinson's disease.
While perhaps more noted for his roles in films such as "Chariots of Fire" (for which he was nominated for an Oscar) and the "Lord of the Rings" and "Hobbit" trilogies (as the older Bilbo Baggins), Holm also appeared in such Disney-owned films as "Alien" (as Nostromo science officer Ash), "The Day After Tomorrow" (as Professor Terry Rapson) and "Ratatouille" (as the voice of Chef Skinner).
