Reality TV

I've read about how reality TV is not really "real", that everything is scripted and edited, from "The Bachelor" to "Long Island Medium", for the purpose of drama and garnering ratings. Here is an article explaining one example of what I am talking about: https://theweek.com/articles/853626/rea ... arent-real.
It makes me wonder: isn't there anything truly real, which is to say, unscripted, (mostly) unedited and totally honest?
