This might be the first Marvel movie i skip at least if the continues to cast Asian actors who if have never heard of. Then again maybe i will see i just bracuse it has Awkwafina and she is great !

I wonder if they will tie the Mandarin and the ten ring to K'un-Lun somehow ?

They have to tie it to the Mandarin in some way, otherwise their short "All Hail the King" would have been for naught.

I'm happy for this movie. First Marvel movie with an Asian character in the lead. I think Mulan release should have been postponed to Summer 2021 too rather than this summer, so we could have had some kind of Asian fest throughout the summer That would have been nice

I don't know anything about the comics, so I didn't understand many things in the trailer, but the film looks very promising to me. Are there fantasy elements in it? It seems so judging by the shots of battles, apparently set in ancient China, in which some kind of fantastical creatures appear. Also, Awkwafina is with Shang-Chi in many shots. That means her role won't be too small and I'm glad about that.

I'm not familiar with the comics either, but I thought it looked promising too. The only part I didn't like was where Awkwafina asked him who he is, instead of responding, he just did a cool pose. I hope that was the result of editing for the trailer, otherwise it's pretty silly. By the way, does anyone else think the title's too long? Instead of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, they should have shortened it to just Shang-Chi and the Ten Rings.

I think it's very clearly an edit, since he jumps from being in the middle of the bus to the front. It's likely he strikes that pose at the beginning of the action sequence.
