Don't get too excited
Dolphins was supposed to come out this week and no sign of it anywhere. It was quietly pulled from the schedule. It was released as BLUE in France...but who knows why it was cancelled elsewhere...

I know... I figure it'll still come out on DVD, fingers crossed.

Rumor has it that Dolphins will be coming to Disney's streaming service in 2019.

Are Blu-rays region-free? I guess we can import Blue from France. I wonder if the streaming service will replace Disney DVD/Blu-ray...is that the whole point of it?

Blu-Rays are almost always region-free, especially Disney ones, so you should be good. Perhaps they think the DisneyNature series isn't lucrative enough to sell in the American market.

Thank you! Even Wings of Life + Crimson Wing weren't theatrically released in North America, but we still got the dvds/Blus.

I just came back from seeing this!! It was so good!! Very funny, too (penguins can be kind of clumsy!). I definitely recommend seeing this!!

A making of documentary called "Life on the Edge" is coming to Disney+ on April 03, 2020.

^ And that shows that Penguins is finally coming in D+. I'm sad they apparently stopped putting the DisneyNature films on disc, but at least they'll be on D+! Thanks for sharing! It's actually my bday and that made my day!!
