So excited for this one! Always loved the character and I'm glad they are using her trademark phrase "higher, further, faster" for the poster.

Captain Marvel’s Comic Book Origin Story Has Been Revamped to Match the Movie

Captain Marvel’s backstory is altered so Carol Danvers’ transformation into the superhero no longer relies on the actions of a male character.

I prefer this new origin. The original would have been difficult to implement considering that they'd have to introduce a brand-new alien character who was a pretty big deal in the comics at the time, but wouldn't really be anything special in the movie. The Superman parallels are interesting though.

Carol looks great fully energized. The glowing hair reminds me of her brief state as Binary. Looking forward to the trailer!

The trailer is great and I like how it doesn't reveal too much. I didn't realize they'd spend so much of the film focusing on the mystery of her background. I never liked her helmet/mask with the mohawk in the comics but it works well here. She looks amazing when she's in full cosmic power mode and I can easily see why she's the most powerful Avenger.
This will probably be the first MCU movie that I'll buy lots of merchandise for.

People are debating whether this was an intentional reference or just a happy accident.

I hope we see Supreme Intelligence as well in the movie. And the golden race of Kree we met in Guardians of the Galaxy.
