The line up for TCM's next Treasures from the Disney Vault has been announced. This will air on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 just in time for Halloween!

Mr. Boogedy surprised me when I saw it listed on the schedule, but in a good way! The only thing better would have been to show it and Child of Glass back-to-back.

Now if only the Disney Channel would show A Disney Halloween and DTV Monster Hits.

I saw this elsewhere, but it was off by an hour, so I wanted to wait before sharing it.

But this is a great lineup! A big range of variety between classic shorts, under-seen TV movies, and the best of Disney's 70's films. Plus one of their most underrated DACs. Can't wait!

"Ichabod and Mr. Toad - awesome, of course. But "Trick or Treat" (1953) and "The Mad Doctor" (1933) would have grouped nicely with "Lonesome Ghosts" as classic Walt Halloween shorts (perhaps instead of "The Old Mill" or "Pigs" trilogy) - "Our Unsung Villains" would have been a fitting Disneyland episode - and "Dr. Syn, Alias the Scarecrow" as the classic live-action feature -- with "Escape to Witch Mountain" and "Return From Witch Mountain" in the late night slot (rather than the later TV movies).

I was kind of hoping they'd end up doing the next quarter's night around Christmas for a holiday themed night. But this looks like a great Halloween-based lineup. Maybe at the very least, TCM will show "From All of Us to All of You" around the holidays with some Leonard Maltin Disney Holidays factoids.

Great line-up, kind of reminds me of when the Disney Channel used to do Vault Disney. Glad TCM is putting these together.

I'll try to write a blog post by tomorrow, but I sadly don't have TCM anymore. I do have the Watch TCM app, but I haven't used it yet, have plans for the block's first couple of hours, and have an exam the following morning.

So I can only try to catch a movie or two this time, if that.

Will be watching this on Thursday...but, most interested in "Ghost of Buxley Hall", "Sleeping Hollow" and "Lonesome Ghosts"......from what I hear...everything that has been shown on the Disney Vault installation has been in HD and good condition...too bad, this is not the case for general retail and availability.

I just got TCM and so I'll certainly be DVRing a few of these, especially Frankenweenie, Mr. Boogedy, and the two Witch Mountain films.

I DVRed the entire lineup but I am really only interested in the shorts, The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr Toad and the Disneyland episode.

I couldn't even use WatchTCM, since neither my cable provider or my family's is eligible for it.

But I did ask for my mom to record the block, since I'm going home next week anyway. I already watched The Adventures of Ichabod & Mr. Toad on Blu last night to compensate, and I'll probably just catch the shorts on YouTube again, and delete those recordings after I catch Leonard Maltin's introductions
