What's interesting is that they aren't promoting it for next year's earth day, just "Coming soon". Anybody have a release date for it?

I'm really looking forward to this, I love the Disneynature films.

Yes it seems really nice. I hope it´s not gonna be just a direct to video release as WINGS OF LIFE.
These beautiful films needs cinematic releases.

So far, the two best in the series have been Crimson Wing and Wings of Life. But I an see why they didn't get a theatrical release: no cute and cuddly animals and narrations that are best targeted towards adults. Crimson Wing felt the most like an actual documentary.

Anyone know if this is still releasing on April 22? There's been literally no promotion of it.

It would seem that the film has been pushed back a year.

Wow, so this will be the first year without a film to be released in the DisneyNature series (since they started),or am I wrong. And if not something will appear on DVD/Blu-Ray later this year of course!

I don't know, but based on what I've read it looks like there is nothing new this year. Personally, I don't see why we can't get at least two or three of these films every year. You look at how many nature docs Discovery or the BBC puts out. I guess Disney just don't have faith in these films because they don't feature lightsabers or super powers.

Not the first time there was a break. There was a year break between Chimpanzee and Bears.

But there was WINGS OF LIFE released to home Entertainment media that year instead.

I saw this today, and it was excellent!!! It made me laugh, it made me cry. Beautiful landscapes, and the animals were awesome, and I thought the narration was great (my dad didn't...he said it was aimed towards a younger crowd, he thought).
