The Haunted Mansion (Animated TV Special)

Haunted Mansion animated TV special announced for Disney Channel, Disney XD inspired by Disneyland ride
Disney has announced (via the Hollywood Reporter) an animated TV special is being created based on Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion attraction in honor of its 45th anniversary.
For Disney Channel and Disney XD, the animated special will feature art from illustrator Gris Grimly, writing from Phineas and Ferb’s Scott Peterson. Joshua Pruett (Phineas and Ferb) will also consult as producer and writer.

That's certainly out of nowhere! Cool! I wish they put out an image to go along with the announcement, so we had SOME kind of idea as to what it might look like. Gris Grimly mixed with Disney TV animation is a strange combo.

Huh. It's too soon to really have feelings about this, but short of Eddie Murphy, I can't turn down anything Haunted Mansion related.

Hmmm how interesting and unexpected !
I hope its good; with this news and the little bit more info we have on the new live action film, looks like Disney are finally starting to focus on this property a bit more !

Ugh I wish they'd show an image so we can get some idea. This is supposed to be released Halloween right?

I'll definitely check this out, being that this is based on my favorite ride in the parks.
