From the director of 'The Secret of Kells' (which I adored), comes 'Song of the Sea'. I can hardly wait! Here are the first trailers:

Oh my goodness, I'm in love with this movie already. Loved The Secret of Kells and feel that this is going to become a favorite, too.

I finally managed to see this yesterday (I'll be seeing BH6 next week). I didn't expect it would top
The Tale of Princess Kaguya for me, but I definitely enjoyed it. I loved the parallel between the mythical figures and the core family, and of course the film was gorgeous. The grandmother was my favorite design, naturally, especially when her hair would end up released. The design of Macha's house and the scene where they break the jars, creating a "storm," were standouts.
I did like the little detail in regards to that character about how taking medicine to dull emotions disconnects a person from reality, in some ways, explaining why the grandmother is cold and harmful without making her a "villain." I enjoyed that it wasn't so black-and-white in that way. The same with its depiction of grief; how Ben unfairly resents Saoirse because he (unconsciously?) thinks of her as the reason his mother is no longer there. Overall, I thought it was very good.

I saw it today and I couldn't agree more with you, Disney's Divinity. What a masterpiece! And it was even better than 'The Secret of Kells'.
