John Henson (1965-2014)

John Henson, Muppets puppeteer and son of the late Jim and Jane Henson, died on Friday.
He was 48.
The Jim Henson Company confirmed the sad news on their Facebook page Saturday.

Ohmigosh! That's terrible! I was 15 when my father died of a heart attack at home. Me, my mother, my brother (then 10-years-old), and my sister (then eight-years-old) were all in the house at the time. I had to rush through the dining room where dad collapsed and mom was kneeling next to him so I could let in the paramedics. My siblings and I had to sit in a bedroom while the paramedics did what they could for him and took him away in the ambulance. My mom, siblings, and I had post-traumatic stress disorder from the whole thing for a very long time.
Mr. Henson's family will be in my thoughts and prayers. R.I.P. Mr. Henson.
