I got the set yesterday and love it. The special features aren't too abundant, but the ones that are there seem to be. I'll take a picture when I get back home from school.

The Flintstones pilot (The Flagstones) has just been certified by the BBFC, so it does look like (all?) the Hanna Barbera collections will be coming out in the UK at some point. I would imagine in the 4 disc sets.

How they can release these and muck up the UK Looney Tunes (and reportedly the Tom and Jerry) releases so much is beyond me.

Anyone who owns this can comment on the picture and sound qualities?

But hopefully this will mean we will get release's of some HB cartoons that are more popular over here quicker because Top Cat and Wacky Races are undoubtably more popular over here than Johnny Quest or The Jetsons.

I own both "The Flintstones" season 1 and "Scooby Doo, Where Are You?" entire series. I am a bigger fan of Flintstones and have finally finished the second disc. (I only have time to watch one episode at a time if I'm lucky.) The picture on Flintstones looks like it has been cleaned up nicely and the audio sounds great. The most interesting thing about this DVD is that these episodes weren't often replayed when I was little. I can't remember ever seeing an episode with the original opening (not the Flintstones theme) or an episode without Pebbles, Bam-Bam, and Dino. This is a great set and I recomend it to any Flintstones fan.

I am disapointed with the Scooby Doo set. It seems rushed. The little white dots are common and are most noticable when it is dark, which is most of the time. The sound is good, though. I like the Flintstones set better, but if you like Scooby Doo, you will at least be glad that you own the entire series of "Scooby Doo, Where Are You?"

I can't wait for "The Jetsons" first season. "Johnny Quest" is also comeing out in wave 2, but I have never seen the original, and didn't care for the Cartoon Network revival of it.

i am in love with the flintstones :) when they were on when i was a kid, i didn't really get it that well. but now that i've been married for a little while, i can appriciate some of the cheesy situations involving maritial type woes that barney and fred get in to. pretty halarious stuff. it got me thinking about all the old hanna barbara cartoons that i used to like. i want season 1 of:

Jabberjaw
Speed Buggy
Yogi Bear
The Hair Bear Bunch
