It was sugested to me that I give the names of the ebay sellers that have wronged me. This is also a good way to keep track of all the bad apples if somone in this forum wants to ebay that hard to find disc.
So here we go:
tracii75
DvDxpress
bowrider032
All of these sellers claim their Dvds are " factory sealed, authentic" Avoid at all costs.

I don't want the sellers to get mad at us.
I know one, but I'm not going to post it unless Luke says it's ok to do.

I don't think there's a problem with it. When bootleg copies Amy Grant's album were being sold for $600 before it was released, I posted on my website all the abusing usernames and details of their profile and eBay history, etc. (with the help of eBay and with the blessing of her management) to discourage people from dealing with them. This might be different... and maybe I wasn't right to do that, lol... But I don't see why there would be a problem.

Now I do not mind Amy Grant - but who on earth would pay $ 600 for an album that is going to be released shortly anyways?

eBay have their own internal mechanism for putting black marks on eBayers. The "feedback" thing is how you should express your disapproval.
I know from experience that one bad transaction with somebody doesn't mean they are a bad eBayer...

But I know from experience that you don't want to make bad coments about anyone because you are afraid to get one back.

I see your point Karlson. Of course, I am weary to buy off e-bay for the very fact to get bootlegs and such. I would certainly buy from people i know who are safe, but how would i really know. I know from here not to buy from a few people and that helps. I don't think e-bay users are closely monitoring UD.com to check to see if they show up per chance. At least here we can be honest and give feedback without worry they are going to give bad feedback to you.

I am sorry to say it but if you have bought anything from these then you can blame yourself for getting a fake DVD.
The first one did not have any feedback, the next one had chosen his feedback to be personal (so nobody can see what people write about him) and the last one was selling so many copyes that you would belive that he was sitting on the entire stock of the movie (he also had a lot of bad feedback for selling fakes)

I agree you need to really research and look for actual photos of the sealed movies...Having said that, I have been burned and the seller didnt get all the negative feedback until after my purchase, so I knew a fake was coming. As a general rule, I never buy Disney Limiteds that say, " New ,but no insert" "Sealed but without insert"( how would they know whats inside??!) And like was just mentioned, If they have 30 copies of Jungle book, They are probably fake.... And now having said THAT, I have sold about 35 Snow whites this month and trust me , they were real....

Oh well....Good luck .

1)At the time I bid, the seller was not at a private setting.
2) After these bad experiences, I have become a pro at spotting fakes. 3)Everytime I have left bad feedback I have received it in return for retaliation.
4) Mermaid Kelly said that I shouldnt do this because it might upset the sellers. I am sorry but that hurts me. Why should I show respect to someone that has stolen from me and from Disney. If they wanna get mad, Bring it!
5)I did this to gives folks a heads up, I do not see why I am beeing treated as the villian.

Obviously, I do too... but there's no way I would ever pay that much money for them... but they were being bought! People on eBay just get carried away, I think.
Karlsen, I'm with you. I'm often reluctant to leave neg. feedback... don't want to get someone who retalliates with unfair neg. feedback for me on my otherwise spotless and impressive record

Many people in this site support bootlegging (when it is convenient for them). Just read some of the threads on the subject, specifically for SOTS.

Quite right you are, Herman. But in that case, at least they know that they are purchasing a bootleg product. It's different when they are being duped. (That's not to say that I support bootlegging, just pointing out the distinction).
