Anyone remember the original Voltron Defender of the Universe series which was a reedit of an anime called Beast King
Golion. There are five lions that merge into the giant robot.

They made two spinoff shows which were not successful. Voltron the Third Dimension and Voltron Force.

Does anyone else think Princess Allura looks like Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty?

Does anyone think that TOEI the company that made Golion which late became voltron ripped off Disney. Here is an image of Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty with Princess Fala from Golion / Princess Allura in VOltron on her left and Princess Aurora from Starzinger on her right who also had a blue dress like the one she is wearing.

Doesn't Voltron have these kids that have these differ robots that resemble tigers and when they team up, the robots combine into one mega robot ala Power Rangers. I remember a long time ago, my cousin had a toy like that, but it was before Power Rangers hit the scene. Am I wrong on this?

There were five lions not tigers that combined to form the robot. The team was made of five space explorers and then one got hurt and sent to a hospital planet. The princess took his place in one of the lions.

TOEI made Beast King Golion the series the footage comes from and they also make the Super Sentai series the Power Rangers shows are bassed on.

Is Princess Fala the same as Princess Allura? Anyway the princess without the sash on her looks a lot like Princess Aurora. The princess with the sash looks just a little bit like Aurora. Maybe they ripped off Disney on the first dress and necklace but just those to me.

The princess without the sash is Princess Fala in Beast King Golion which was reedited into Voltron with new dialogue and the Princess was renamed Princess Allura. The princess with the sash is Princess Aurora from an eariler anime called Starzinger in which she is 16 years old and had to go to a planet to regulate a generator with her mental powers.
