Let it Go would be my choice.

It's definitely a toss up between For the First Time in Forever and Let it Go, but I went with For the First Time because I'm a sucker for "I want" songs, and because... I find that I like Kristin Bell's voice as Anna better than Idina's Elsa. *gasp* I definitely wasn't expecting that, as I do love Idina. But I'm incredibly impressed with Kristin. Had no idea she had such a beautiful voice. Also, the reprise is fantastic.

I choose DYWTBAS, but darn it I love ALL the songs in the movie that it was difficult to choose one.

I went with Let it Go, but it's so wonderful being torn between so many songs as which is my favorite. It's been far too long. "Love is an Open Door", "For the First Timeā¦" (as well as it's reprise), "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" all give "Let it Go" a run for it's money. I find myself singing "Reindeer(s) Are Better Than People" to myself a lot too. Really, "Fixer-Upper" is the only song I'm kind of "meh" about.

When I heard Let it go from the Disney Store, I kept listening to it all the time. It was my favorite...
But I can't deny how catchy Love is An Open Door is... and ultimately.. it was the most visually impressive song in the movie and it is the song that I've been singing since I saw it..
So for me.. Love is An Open door.
Best song in order:
-Love is an open door
-Let it go
-For the first time in forever
-Fixer upper
-DYWTBAS
-Frozen Heart
-For the first time in forever reprise
-in summer
Best visually impressive song:
-Love is an Open Door
-Fixer-Upper (the colors.. just wow)
-For the first time in forever
-For the first time in forever reprise
-Frozen heart
-DYWTBAS
-Let it go (the only thing that was visually impressive is the last 30 seconds)
-In summer

I'd have to say "Let It Go." In that one song, there's a real development in Elsa's character and the way the song evolves as she breaks out of her shell is fantastic, in my opinion. The sequence it accompanies is quite brilliant, too, and I think its impact on the children of this generation will be similar to how 90s Kids feel about the ballroom sequence in Beauty and the Beast.
I also love "For the First Time in Forever" and "Fixer Upper." I think the latter song is very catchy, the lyrics are fun and like the rest of the film, is a great post-modern bent on the true love trope.

To be honest, the only song which really impressed me is "For The First Time Forever". A wonderful Disneyesque song which ranks among the best Disney songs ever. "Let It Go" is fine, but I wished it was less pop-like (Demi's version is actually quite good). "Frozen Heart" is okay, but the rest of the songs are forgettable. "In Summer" is just bloody awful and "Fixer Upper" seems more like a "High School Musical"-song than an actual Disney-song.
And as for the score, I wasn't impressed at all. It was underwhelming and mediocre.

i agree with disneyfan09. the score was serviceable but couldn't stand on its own outside of the film. it had so much potential with the chants. even tangled's weak score is far superior. as for the songs i personally like frozen heart and first time in forever (both versions). the only part of let it go i like is the build up music. i feel like fixer upper is the most unnecessary song in the film. they couldve had that scene differently. its even worse than a guy like you (which doesnt bother me at all).
as for the movie. its great but just not 'there' yet. i cried though when anna and elsa.....
music 7/10
film 8/10

Thanks for agreeing. I agree that "In Summer" is even worse than "A Guy Like You".

Still can't see the movie yet, but judging my Tumblr thankfully posting the sounds got to say so far Love is a Open Door, and Let It Go.
Worst so far, Reindeer's are better than people.
Just.... strange...

It works in context for the actual movie and is quite a cute scene (Sven's expressions are adorable). Groff's velvety voice doesn't hurt either. I'd put this above "In Summer" and "Fixer-Upper" personally.

I agree with this. I believe that was definitely one of those moments you remember looking back when you were younger.

Let it Go is, to me, one of the best sequences in the CG Disney films thus far, not only is the animation, art direction/lighting gorgeous as all get out, this is such an expirence that I don't think we will ever see again for a long while. I agree with this being the "ballroom scene" to the kids of today.

Let it go is the obvious choice here. I think I would follow that up with do you want to build a snowman. I'm not sure if I actually like the song or the context that it was used. I didn't like it as much before I saw it, that's for sure.
For the First Time in Forever reminds me too much of that song from Tangled. Its okay, I just cant shake thet dejavu.
There were a number of songs I didn't care for at all though. I would have cut three easily.

I've replayed "Let it Go" more than any other song, but my favorite remains "For the First Time in Forever." Probably because I always enjoyed Bell's singing over Menzel's. I'm a huge fan of her in
Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical, especially her duet with Christian Campbell ("Romeo and Juliet"):

One of my few criticisms of the film is that Jonathan Groff didn't have another song, especially as his only one is a small character-development piece. I don't know where I'd place another song for Kristoff, though off the top of my head, a reprise of "Love is an Open Door" with modified lyrics (reflecting Anna and Kristoff's thoughts as opposed to Anna & Hans') could have worked somewhere.

1.Let it Go (mostly for the visuals, though the song works well without them)
2. Love is an Open Door (it's very 60s rock/pop in style/tone, I love it)
3. For the first time in forever/reprise (even if cliched at times it has that very "broadway-esque" feel to it that really works). The reprise is amazing with the visuals and Elsa's part.
4. Reindeers are better than people. I just love how laidback it is in comparison to the other songs. Wish Johnathan Groff had sung more, though.
5. Vuelie. I think it wasn't used to its best. It could've given a very mysthical theme to the world/universe of the film. It's also so different from all the other songs in this, so it's just weird. It's like putting Steady as the Beating Drum in the Little Mermaid soundtrack. It's still very beautiful and haunting, though.
6. Frozen Heart. Too much like a watered down version of Prologue from Les Mis.
7. In Summer. A cute song, but it really comes out of nowhere and it ends just the same way. Olaf's cute though, and some of the lyrics are quite fun. It reminds me a lot of "Everything is Honey", too.
8. Fixer Upper. Had a bathroom break during this song, dunno, seems the most pointless and boring out of all of them.
