Surprised there's no thread for this, but the Popular films based off the Marvel characters(leased to Fox) are faced with what could be considered a conclusion. Bryan Singer returns to the Director's chair.
In the film, Professor X(avier)asks Wolverine to do some mental Time Travel to go back to when Xavier was young and convince him to continue the fight for mutantkind. The films primary antagonist is Bolivar Track(played by Peter Dinklage), owner and CEO of Trask Industries, who designed Robots called Sentinals designed to protect the US government from Mutants like Magneto.
Generally, the casts of X-Men 1-3 plus the prequel, "First Class" return. So we get the likes of James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, and Michael Fassbender.
First footage was revealed at San Diego Comic Con, featuring stills of sentinals and Dinklage, as well as a mock commercial for Trask Industries.
Cant embed this.

And the other day, the official teaser was released.

Bryan Singer also explains the trailer.

Stills of the Sentinels can be seen here.

Hypable has more info. So far, my most anticipated movie of next year! It's gonna tackle several plot holes the other movies left behind.

It's my most anticipated movie of 2014, too. As a huge fan of all previous films (well, minus XO:W), I can't hardly contain my excitement. I just hope I'm not setting myself up for disappointment, like it happened with Prometheus.

The problem is that a lot of blockbusters nowadays get ridiculously overhyped and people bitch about how it did not meet their expectations when it gets released. I have strayed away from most comic book movies (Avengers was the last one I saw) and I now sit back and watch the reactions.

That was the best trailer for an X-Men film I've ever seen.

Definitely looking forward to this. I turned into a squealing fangirl after this trailer. Seeing all the characters from the older series pushed me over the edge. I don't really understand the plot or why Wolverine has to go to the past, or if that really is supposed to be a younger Wolverine, and I don't care. Rogue's in it. That's all I need to know to be excited.

To Stop Oliver Trask (Peter Dinklage's character) from creating these Mutant Hunting Giant Robots called Sentinels who eventually take over the world

To embed videos in DVDizzy forums, just copy and paste the address from the "Address Bar", don't copy it from the "Share" area.
Should look like this:

This is one amazing trailer
However even though Rogue is in the trailer, she won't be in the movie after all. That sucks

I blame
X-Men: The Last Stand. It felt way too convoluted and ended up cheating some characters out (Rouge, Cyclops, Xavier, the Phoenix). It should have just been a movie about the Phoenix, not the Mutant Cure plot that is being retconned now anyways. It was also completely unnecessary how they added a battle between two armies or something.

Yeah, The Last Stand is a mess of a movie. But with Days of Future Past, I was hoping they'd just act like it never happened. I know I do.

I tolerate Last Stand, but this movie is apparently looking to override it somewhat.
Too bad Rogue isn't in the film anymore

though some fans dont like her to begin with.

Actually She's back in but we'll probably just see her in the background. Watch This Video For the details
