Jungle Book UK Blu-ray

Does anyone who has this know if it's region free like all the previous Disney blu-rays were. I've seen that Amazon.co.uk has it as Region B/C, but it seems odd that this release would be region locked and no others are

I own the UK Steelbook version, and can confirm it is indeed Region B/C locked. On another forum someone said the steelbook version is the same disc as the regular release. Very strange that this one is locked while other aren't.

I have the UK regular version and it is region locked. Only plays region B and C.
I guess they don’t want the Americans buy it outside the US; and wait for next year Diamond Edition release.

According to
DVDCompare's entry, it contains the following new material:
Introduction by composer Richard M. Sherman (0:30)
"I Wan'na Be Like You: Hangin' Out at Disney's Animal Kingdom" featurette (18:25)
"Alternate Ending" featurette (8:46)
"Growing Up with Nine Old Men" documentary (41:08)
The "Growing Up" documentary appeared on the US
Peter Pan Blu-Ray, so I don't think it'll repeat itself on
The Jungle Book next year here.
Also, the Blu-Ray doesn't have the Platinum Edition's Disney Wildlife Conservation Fund PSA (3:33 running time), art galleries (306 stills) or various interactive games. And it's still missing the "Making of a Musical Masterpiece" documentary and theatrical trailer, both from the 1997 LaserDisc.

Dog with a Blog and it's very interesting, you can see all the inside work of the park.
