Hello guys! I wanted some advice, please...
Me and my family, well... We're christmas addicts. We just love everything christmas-related and one of our dreams is to see NYC at christmastime.
This december, it's gonna come true! I'm beyond excited!
But I wanted to know if the city's decoration, the stores decorations... when to they start to show? Is it just near Dec. 25 or all month long? I ask because I'm going on Dec. 3 and staying til Dec. 13, and I'm scared stores and other places won't be decorated with it's christmas themed windows and stuff...
Also, what's the CAN'T MISS attractions during the season in NY?
Thanks so much!

Try end of October.

That's when they practically start shitting out Christmas decorations. I'm not kidding. I commute to NYC everyday.

Try radio city music hall Christmas Spectacular, visit the tree and ice rink there(though there is a HUGE ASS line for that). They use to have A Christmas Carol play in Madison Square Garden but that's over and they aren't doing any more there. most of the Christmas stuff you want to see will be around the Midtown and Times Square area.

That's all I can think of atm.

Most things will be up by Thanksgiving weekend. The Rockefeller Center tree goes up the first week of December, I think. Have a great time!

Thanks for the help, guys!
I really cannot wait, I'll sure be having the time of my life!
Now, we're deciding if we should go see Cinderella or Wicked on Broadway...

See both!

I haven't seen Cinderella, but my wife and I saw Wicked in NYC last year and it was excellent. I actually went into it kind of ho hum (not a huge fan of the Wizard of Oz in general) and agreed because she really wanted to see it, but I came out of the show a fan! Newsies is outstanding as well.

I've never been to NYC during Christmastime either. That's on our bucketlist . . . maybe someday when the kids are grown (so about 20 years from now - lol!)
